About Me

I'm a senior in high school. I'm new to this website and have done a few swaps and I love it! I am a very crafty person. I enjoy handmaking things. I like to make flipbooks and scrapbooks. I enjoy painting, writing, and crafting. I'm a person who loves snailmail. I've been penpal-ing for over 3 and a half years now. I have had the pleasant experience of getting to know so many awesome people from all over the world!

Favorite Crafts

I love anything to do with snail mail; flipbooks, envelopes, pens, stickers, paper, or anything like that! I also enjoy scrapbooking. I love to use project life cards, stickers, paper, and washi. I also love to journal! I currently have a small moleskin that I am currently using to journal in!

Favorite Books

I am a total book nerd. I have always loved to read, even when I was young. My favorite authors include John Green, Rainbow Rowell, and Nicholas Sparks. I enjoy reading realistic stories.

Comment: I was really hoping to work things out so that I did not have to rate a 3, but unfortunately it did not turn out that way. Two days after the deadline for the swap, my partner messaged me that she was delayed in sending the package due to her post office being closed from snow. It was eventually mailed a week after the deadline. As she had told me about the delay, I did not factor the delay into my rating. However, once I received the swap, the contents did not seem to meet the requirements of 1) $10 minimum before shipping, 2) a card filled with encouraging & supportive sentiments and 3) "the something to do" wasn't really an actual activity or craft kit. I reached out to the swap coordinator to get a second opinion about the package. She agreed it did not seem to meet the swap requirements/ minimum and recommended I reach out to my partner before rating to see if she wanted to resend any part of the swap. I did so and waited 3 weeks to give my partner time to respond (I could see the message had been read). When I went to check in again before rating, I found that I had been blocked. I asked the coordinator if she could check in before I rated, but she had been blocked as well. I wish we could have had a discussion and tried to resolve this, but unfortunately, that was not the case and I need to rate fairly based on what I received.
Response: I was really excited about this swap. It’s very unfortunate that you did not think I met swap requirements. I thought the activity was super cute and fun for valentine’s day. I understand.
