Hi! My name is Shannon. I'm a SAHM, with a family of 4- my high school sweetheart turned hubby, two girls (11 & 2) and 1 boy(7)... Before being a mom, I used to work in commercial photography as a photographer’s assistant, then a stylist (off and on figure), location scout, set building, as well as, booking models. I enjoy lots of things: music, movies, photography, holidays, playing games, cards, outings with my family, estate sales, thrifting, bargains, junking, creating and crafting...

cards, ATC, assemblage, altered this and that, scrapbooking, some sewing (usually for cards, ATC, scrapbooking, and REAL sewing with my daughter for her dolls (American Girl), clothes, blankets, jewelry, etc), I've done some counted cross-stitching (not in recent years), and I would like to learn to knit and felt someday! I'd even like dabble in glass, at least once! I LOVE quilts (big ones, little ones)- and love the art of making quilts, though I have never made one... I think anyone who makes them, is quite an artist!

VINTAGE!, shabby, chic, with chipped paint, sometimes blingy and sparkly, some urban chic… and sometimes I get a contemporary itch (straight lines, pop culture, etc.), I've tended to work in a modge podge of themes, like a quilt... but whatever mood I'm in, is what I'll do!

vintage aprons, hankies, children's story books, blingy jewelry, charms (beaded, handmade, soldered, any- really), postage, linens and playing cards- regular and children's, roosters...pretty ribbons. I also collect hang tags from garments, bags, purses, etc. (ones that are a work of art themselves, or are a good base for an altered tag!) ;)

I also collect books or copies of poems, and quotes. And if you have something to share, I’d love to hear it!
