I am so happy to be out of school and have the opportunity to realign my attention span to books I actually choose myself. It was so bad in college... I rarely finished anything that was assigned on time, and then the class on it would be a spoiler so I wouldn't bother finishing it on my own time.
It's cool that you make bookmarks and envelopes. My mother used to be way into making bookmarks with Dover clip art and colored paper. Everytime I go to her house I take a few. Me, I had the exciting experience of cutting up an old book of Surrealist prints for handmade envelopes. I was so fun. I also ripped up a beginning reader on Terra Cotta warriors. It had great pictures and such lame text, it's happier now as envelopes, I can tell.
Disney's Cinderella is such a well made movie-- I love the animation style of it. Tell me, have you ever seen The Last Unicorn? It's very pretty too.

I also love reading, but can't imagine having a kindle. I downloaded some free books onto my phone, but I can't sit and read them its just not the same. The feeling and experience of reading a BOOK is too nice, the feel of the pages, even the smell of the book.
I also love Mexican food. Over here in UK we have a chain of restaurants called Chiquitto's. Oooh the food is wonderful. They used to do an eat all you can buffet, but sadly they stopped it :'( .

I have arthritis tho, so I'm actually considering getting an eReader. I borrowed a friend's Nook a few days ago and it was pretty cool. The text looks like book pages! And it's light and holds hundreds of books. You should try one out, just to see if you like it. :)
Sucky about your psoriasis. It runs in my family and we've found flax oil (eaten, not applied) or borage oil really helpful for breakouts. I hope you have something that works for you!
Here is my beginner tip for learning crochet, well, two actually: get books from the library rather than buying them, and find someone who knows how to crochet (or a few someones) and watch them. There are different ways to hold the hook and yarn, so getting a lot of options is good. Cool that you're learning crochet, and ATCs too. They are SO fun! It's amazing how much one can do to such a small card. :)

I completely understand what you mean about the kindle vs. books. Books have history and a smell and a "life". A kindle just isn't the same. I love the smell of old books.
Have you read Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. They are a masterpiece! If you haven't read them, you should seriously try, although don't read Merrick as a VC book. That was the boring one of the bunch, IMO.
I'm also a huge Grey's Anatomy fan. I work in a vet and it's like Grey's Anatomy with fur. We were discussing it at work last night, because I work afterhours and we get alot of emergencies. I told my boss he's like the Dr. Hunt of our vet clinic. He does the trauma causes. lol
