I am an artsy, crafty, thrift store shopping funky mommy. I try and live a green lifestyle - work in the nonprofit sector and have two children that everyone claims are perfect. (I on other hand seriously wonder.) I don't know what to write really - Just ask and I shall answer.

My favorite things:

I like: old advertising weird gum packages very cool fabric (vintage, retro, tacky) old buttons (even one will do) love books, cards - anything stationary-esque vintage advertising vintage ashtrays (especially vegas in the 50's and travel ones)

Most of all I like things that people put their heart into - doesn't have to be amazing or perfect - just something they have made

Christmas ornaments (I have been told they are nice) personalized alters cross stitch patterns, anything cross stitch weird little bits and bobs fabric, wool, notions etc ask and I may just have it I also really like creating zines, cut and paste collages etc. Things that are a little outside the norm. I have a bit of a warped sense of humor but will always check who I am swapping with to ensure I don`t offend or hurt feelings. But if you have a slightly off colored sense of humor (Little Britian etc) please hit me up

Please be advised that Canada Post has 40 million pieces of mail in back log - all my swaps marked sent have been in the post from the first day that the strike ended. Please forgive my crap postal service.

colors - earth tones, blues, greens, reds, deep yellows

patterns - geometric, vintage prints

I also love vintage housewife items - I mean LOVE - also like retro space, retro camp themes, more vintage the better. I also like old adverts from the 70s on back. Old romance comics (60s & 70s).

Other themes I like: travel, cooking, old religious icons (think Russian or 50s/60s Catholic), old sports. Vintage kids, smoking and clothing ads are great too.

I love the 50s, 60s and 70s the most.

I am very happy with good quality photocopies that I am able to hand tint.

I drink coffee but also like weird, funky teas.

I like hard candies but not gummies.

These are my likes but feel free to send off the list as I am not picky and if i can't use it somebody in my house will. I get thrilled at people just sharing.

I am short on things like embellishments (no good sources here :( )

I am not a big cute person - bunnies, kitties etc unless they are old vintage (Victorian-esque).

I don't use pinks and other pastels unless listed in my likes.

I love Hello Kitty but don't use it in my crafts - so things like pencils, erasers are cool All the other Kawaii while fun is not my thing.

Right now I have a lot of ribbon, plain cardstock. Funky card stock is great as long as it is big enough for an ATC.

I am not a big death person so skulls etc don't get used. Also creepy things don't float my boat.

While I love chocolate my backside doesn't lol

I do not crochet or knit beyond scarves and simple things. Nor do I make earrings etc. Not into beading either.
