I am a wife and love being the mother of a daughter and brand new son-in-law! My family is my world and they are all so wonderfully different from each other. I am an office manager at an elementary school and really love the kids. I can't wait for grandchildren and my son-in law and daughter are excited to start right away. I quilt, sew, craft, crochet and knit, collect and I love romantic settings. I have never met a fabric I didn't like and all kinds have followed me home. I love batiks, brights, florals, neutrals and novelty prints. Fall and Christmas batiks are my latest favs! I totally love to travel and consider myself a true bag lady.....I have tons of tote bags.

Crafts....where to begin. It all started with a lovely mother and stepmother who both crafted. Both out of necessity, both for enjoyment. Both sewed so quilting was inevitable. Both crocheted so a love of yarn, crocheting and knitting was obvious. Cross-stitch, needle point and embroidery were self taught. I love miniatures, porcelain dolls and shabby chic. I love art, reading and travel.

TV during the week days is CSI Miami, LV and NY. I love NCIS, Mentalist, Ghost Whisperer ang Chuck. Weekends are Extreme House Makeover. Comedies are Big Bang Therory and Two and a Half Men.

I really do love all music. Soft, classic rock and Country are probably the favs but Jazz and Classical are second. Heavy Metal and punk have been in my past and R & B is sneaking up there to the top.

Love making beautiful things, tangible or not. I adore positive people. Beauty is relative as is kindness and respect. I love romantic anything and I have a husband that is romantic at heart.

My favorite books are biographies and picture books. I love antique books and children story books. The Da Vinci Code was the last novel I read clear through. I sew more than I read novels. I love me some quilting magazines the very most.

Gone With the Wind, Wizard of Oz, Titanic and my newest, Grand Torino. Clint Eastwood movies are sooo classic. Breakfast Club was an old fav along with An American in Paris and Brigadoon.

I love yellow and pink. Lavender and cream and Robin's Egg blue. I love the jewel tones and earth tones. I love the mustards, slates, maroons and rusts. My colors at my first wedding were all pastels and my second was taupe, mustards and rusts. My house is olives and creams with lavender and purple tossed in around for color.

Not much....raw oysters and mean spirited people.
