Progressive Progeny v 1.0 of the Ongelungel Art Dynasty. My father is a professional fine artist and I started my career working for him as an assistant. Eventually, my sister took over being his personal assistant and I moved on to public relations and art dealer/agent.

For a living: I have worked as a graphic designer/promoter since 1997 and as a website designer since 2001. Additionally, I make various kinds of art-- mainly with recycled/repurposed materials.

For fun: I continue to make various kinds of art, mainly with recycled/repurposed materials.

I'm a snarky, 20something, daughter-of-a-fine-artist, lowbrow/pop-art-enthusiast, Pacific-Islander chick living in the Pacific Northwest.

There's no genre that I'm unwilling to listen to, and my iTunes seems to reflect a sort of zany eclectic taste in music.

My passion, however, is for good chill reggae and Island-style music. I'm all about the irie vibes!

I love books. I hoard books. I ran out of space for more books ages ago, but it doesn't stop me from buying more!

I don't watch nearly as much television as I could... But when I do, here are a few of the faves:

I have no UNfavorite crafts. I'll try damn near anything, so long as it isn't prohibitively expensive.

• Clowns and anything clown-related
• Anything deemed "scary and doll-like"
• Anything that could be misconstrued as an act of proselytizing
• Styrofoam and things packed with styrofoam. It's not environmentally-friendly and the noise is worse than nails on a chalkboard!
• Plastic beads
• Dollar store candles and variations thereof
• Things that smell heavily of flowers (allergies...)
• Holiday novelties (unless that's the point of the swap...)

Honestly, I'm happy with anything that's not on my "SHOULD NOT" list.

I'm not picky about colors, so long as they go well together. Brights, neutrals, tie-dyed, plaid... It's all good!
