Hello! My name is Jacki and I'm happy to swap with you.
Current favorite swaps are making/decorating envelopes, flipbooks, and items for handmade journals. I enjoy decoupaging to create interesting textures, using papers that create crinkly sounds, and finding ways to add fabric and trims. Working on getting better at incorporating inks and paints and recently got a gelli plate (much to learn with that). I enjoy exchanging letters on occasion, but am not great at being a consistent penpal. I welcome private package swaps with reliable established swappers. I offer RAKs regularly and enjoy assembling little packages of goodies that make other people smile.
I'm an understanding swapper and don't look for reasons to down-rate. I never look at post marks, if you're a few days late, I won't even notice. If you will be significantly late or if you mess up in some other way, message me and we can work it out. If I mess up, I will do everything I can to fix it to your satisfaction. My swapping intention is to encourage others in their craft, express gratitude for everything received, and live by the words of JM Barrie: Be kinder than necessary.
EXTRAS β Please never feel obligated to send a bunch of extras my way. I give hearts freely and not based on extras. Keep it simple by adding one of the following which is more than enough to make me smile: a botanical sticker, a little handwritten note, a book recommendation, an unused forever stamp, a decorative paper napkin.
FAVORITE THEMES - Floral, botanical, nature, artsy, earth friendly, reading, animals, bees, butterflies, watercolor, things with texture, uplifting words and phrases, paper with stitching. I prefer artistic/illustrations over realistic images.
JOURNALS - Journaling tips or ideas. Always on the lookout for old book pages (any language), music paper, dyed paper, strips of lace or other trims, interesting images or phrases from books, tags, pockets, ephemera, small crocheted doilies or flowers to use in clusters, small flat buttons.
NON TOURISTY POSTCARDS β Starting a junk journal project using non-touristy postcards. Would prefer postcards with artistic or creative images and not touristy postcards with places or advertisements, etc. These are some postcard styles that catch my eye.
YOUR ART - Anything handmade by you, in any medium, any theme, would be a joy to receive. I especially adore embroidery, watercolor, and crochet (none of which I can do).
PACKAGES- Candles or melts (flowery or fresh scents), lip balm, mints, earth-friendly items, perfume samples, anything hand-crafted, wide fabric headbands, list of recommended books (mysteries especially), useful/practical items, unique items from your locale, anything from or inspired by my Etsy Favs.
SNACKS - Milk chocolate with crunchy/crispy bits, Fry's Turkish Delight, fizzy/effervescent candies like Swizzles Love Hearts and Brause-stΓ€bchen, minty candies, salty and spicy snacks. Not a fan of dark chocolate, gummy candies, meat-based snacks, or herbal tea.
I will not make use of these kinds of things:
π« childish, fantasy, celebrities, fashion
π« holiday related
π« tourist or promotional items
π« used postage, memo sheets, post-it notes
π« traveling items like friendship books, slams
π« religion, spirituality (angels, Bible, tarot cards, astrology)
π« things with human faces give me the creeps - like this and this and this
π« knick-knacks or little things that sit around the house with no purpose
π« make-up, nail polish, bath bombs
π« no tea for me, please
.

WW ~ September Wish
Thank you for the pretty birthday card, the pretty pumpkin sticker sheet, the needed tiny alphabet sticker sheet and the perfect affirmation card (love what it says). I appreciate you thinking of me!
Hugs, Pam
Thank you for the lovely purple package for my WW September wishes. I love everything including the envelope. Thank you π
No doubt the universe is unfolding as it should... ;) but for real, thank you again. I love the texturing on the envelope and it actually arrived fully unharmed. It was double barcoded on the back, I think it probably ended up in hand sorting hell. But it really brightened my day to receive it, so thank you again!
Well, today I almost had a panic attack thinking I signed up for another Cover the Envelope swap that I somehow flaked on. Then I saw the postmark on the envelope I received was from JUNE. Your original swap actually arrived intact! Tysm, I love it and told you it would get here... eventually!
thank you soooo much, Jackie! <3 Tracy
Thank you for the lovely letter and the beautiful Halloween washi you sent me for my August WW! I will write back as soon as I get a chance.
WW July Hi I just returned from vacation and received your wonderful surprise envie. Thank you so much for the poppy washi, sticker sheets, and your summer reading list. I don't have a die cut machine so I am very grateful for the die cuts too. I will send a reply to you. Thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness. Enjoy your weekend!π
Thank you so much for the cute rabbit postcards from my Etsy WL! The seller included an extra postcard and some stickers too! (WW August Wish)
I'm going to use my psychic powers to make a prediction here. The first envelope is in my mailbox sometime in January 2025, covered with visible muddy boot marks, creased like it's been bent in half, about a quarter of the decoration ripped up, and the flap of the envelope visibly opened by hand on one side but the person who did that didn't want washi tape. Also, every corner is canceled except the one with the stamps. Let's see how accurate this turns out to be! Thanks again for sending such a nice swap, hope to swap again soon. :)
Thank you for the lovely letter of your book list for WW June! I absolutely loved it.
