My name is Jessica. I'm 18 years old. I'm not like most 18 year olds you see. I'm mature for my age. I've been to one club since I turned 18. It's not all it's cracked up to me. I live in the United States. I go to Niagara University. I major in elementary education with a minor in anthropology.

I'm new to this website, but not to internet swapping/trading/buying. I have an account on LiveJournal and PaperBackSwap.

Recieving things in the mail is always the highlight of my day. I would never back out on a swap, because I would hate it if someone did it to me. I always give hearts and I always rate fairly. Rarely will I hand out a three or a one!

As I am very busy with school, I might not send off swaps the very day addresses are available but I will always send before deadline. If I'm going to be late, I will let you know as soon as possible. :)

I'm sometimes paranoid my mailman hates me for all the packages I send and recieve. :P

I still live at home (I'm only 18!) with every intention to move out next fall.

We have, like, a million cats but they all live outdoors with the except of two. We also have two dogs. I keep the things I swap as far away from my pets as possible to avoid any problems for my partners. :)

Movies: A Walk to Remember, Titanic, Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, Taxi, Encino Man, She's The Man, Mean Girls, The Silver Bullet, Wrong Turn, See No Evil, Trains Planes and Automobiles, The Great Outdoors, Uncle Buck, Tamara, The Breakfast Club, and lots more.

Books: I don't have just one favorite book or author. I'll pretty much read anything but science fiction and fantasy. Currently, I'm really into memoirs.

Patterns/fabrics: I love love love animal prints. Zebra and cheetah prints are my favorites. I love anything silk or satin.

Colors: I love bright, bold colors. Neon colors are love. I'm also a huge pink and purple lover.

♥

Candy: I love any and all foreign candy. I get bored of American candy. I love seeing what else is out there. My favorites are cherry sours (also called Jersey Cherries), sponge candy, button candy, bottle caps, Dove chocolate, gummi candy, root beer barrels, Japenese hi-chews, and Japenese soda candy.

Holiday: Christmas, hands down. I leave Christmas music on my iPod all year round. I love anything and everything Christmas related. I hate New Years' because it's the official end of the holidays. I embrace all celebrated December holidays, although I personally only celebrate one.

Hobbies/Activities: Cheerleading is my number one love. I'm not an athlete at all, but cheerleading is the one sport I'm good at. I love anything outdoors such as camping, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, walking nature trails, and so on. I love to scrapbook (I think I like to collect scrapbook stuff more than anything), make my own paper, writing, make candles, make soap, make my own jewelery, and the list goes on. I love taking pictures, but I wouldn't consider myself a photographer.

Music: Instead of just making this super long and endless, I'll just say that I love all types of music. My playlists are so random. Mixed CD swaps make me happy.

Recipes: I love to bake and cook a lot. I have tons of recipes lying all over the place. I adore recipe swaps and recieving recipes from people. Dessert recipes are my favorite.

Stationary: I never have enough of it. I love to recieve stationary. I love any kind, any style, any color.

Perfume samples: You know those little perfume samples that are in a lot of magazines? I adore them. I always have my family save them for me if they ever come across them. I appreciate any scent!

Stamps: I have an envelop filled with stamps. I love seeing the different kind of stamps that come from all over the place.

Notebooks/notepads/journals: I'm an avid writer. I love making lists. Notebooks and little notepads are love. I have tons of diaires that I'll probably never write in. I just love collecting them.

Books: I'm the kind of person that reads about 3-5 books at once. It's almost obsessive compulsive. I buy/swap more books than I know what to do with. Even if I recieve a book I don't like, I still love to have it to share with others.

Giraffes and Owls: I think they're the cutest things ever. I love them! Pictures, paper, fabric, jewelry, cards, figurines, anything; I collect it!

Pens: I have an obsession with pens. Enough said.

♥

Cards: Birthday cards, get well cards, Halloween cards, Christmas cards, Valentine cards, graduation cards, anniversary cards... I love them all. I especially love them if they're already filled out.

Paris, France: I love this place so much. My room is decorated with a Paris theme. I love anything to do with Paris.

Candles/incense: Any scent, any shape, any color, I love everything.

♥

Make up: Lip gloss, lip balm, eye liner, mascara, foundation, blush, glitter, anything. I lovee makeup.

Hello Kitty: I've been collecting Hello Kitty things since I was about eight. I adore her.

♥ Vintage: I love to go to antique stores/malls with my mom and grandma. I love anything vintage, especially vintage cards and postcards.

♥ Tins: I love any kind.

♥

Italian charms: I have a charm bracelet and I'm always on the look out for new charms.

If I recieve something from a swap that's not really my style, I'm not going to throw it away. I'll keep it and reuse it for something. What matters the most to me is that someone took their time to send me something they thought I would like. I'm not going to turn around and just toss it away.

BUT, to maybe make things easier on my partners, here is a list of things I really, really don't like:

Bugs: I'm the annoying girl that screams when she sees a bug. I'm that girl that will NOT sleep in a room until she knows the bug is gone. I'm sorry, I'm that horrible person that never feels guilty about killing a bug.

Fish: HUGEEEEEEEE dislike here. I loathe fish. They literally give me the chills. They freak me out with their scales and their eyes. Even thinking about them right now is giving me a little panic attack. I absolutely refuse to eat them. I don't go fishing. I'd rather cut off my ankle and pour salt on the wound than touch a fish. If I go into a pet store, I cannot walk by the fish tanks. Aquariums are my worst nightmare. Sounds dramatic, but words cannot describe how much I hate fish.

Black licorice: Does anybody like black licorice?

Necco candies: I don't like candy that tastes and feels like chalk.

Sports related items: As I said, I'm not an athlete AT ALL. I hated gym class because I was always the one getting hurt and nailed with balls.

Chai tea: I drank it once and, well, I won't go into details.

Marshmellows: They make me gag so much. Colored marshmellows make me want to toss breakfast.

♥ I'm allergic to nickel (in jewelery).

♥ I bake constantly.

♥ I love making candles, soap, and bathbombs.

♥ I also love making my own paper.

♥ I love to write in journals and embellishing the covers to them.

♥ I love making ATCs, gift tags, and bookmarks.

♥ Basically, I love handmade things!

I recieved a THREE rating from one of my partners for the Mix CD Scavenger Hunt w/ TWIST swap. I sent her the CD, but the CD was not CD-ready. However, when I offered her to remake the CD it was too late. I believe this to be a fair rating. I just wanted to explain the three. :)

When I say I love all music I mean it. I'll listen to anything. That's why mixed CD swaps are my favorite. I love discovering new artists and having a variety of music to choose from. Some artists/bands I listen to are:
