I'm a 45 year old art fan, crafter, volunteer, writer, feminist & mother of two teens (1 in college, 1 in high school) PLUS two feline fur babies. I've been happily married for 22 years. People describe me as warm, friendly, outgoing and upbeat.

I have a strong desire to donate, support, promote and serve my favorite charities, & causes. (Kiva, Animal welfare, women's rights and Nature preservation)

Right now I'm really enjoying the creation of ATC's and Inchies.

What else? Hmmm...I'm a Netflix binge watcher. I enjoy hanging out at home in my art studio or with my family. You are also likely to catch me with friends at art openings, community events, and craft shows.

My obsessions are with Day of the Dead items, the ocean, International Folk art, abstract art, stars, tattoos, nature, leaves, gems and crystals, animals, science, the mythological Medusa, searching for unusual/odd rubber stamps, octopi, pressed/elongated pennies, interesting glass beads, silver jewelry (ring size 9, 10 bracelet 8")

I am a hobbyist/artist too...having done (and organized) countless craft shows and sold glass mosaics, alcohol ink abstract pieces, other mixed media, jewelry and collage. I am known for my use of bright, happy colors.

I have lived in Florida, Alabama, Texas, New Mexico, and Ohio. I am an English speaker but know some Spanish too.

Italian and Cuban foods are my favorite. I also like Greek, Mexican & Seafood.

Fave show: Peaky Blinders (also Orange is the New Black, The 100, Game of Thrones, Bloodline)

Fave colors: blues and greens, also red---bold and happy. Black is good too, tie-dye is fun. Not really into pastel shades.

Fave animals: orca, octopus, cats, gorillas, foxes, polar bears, bees

Fave place in the world: Italy

Fave scents: daffodil, wisteria, hyacinth (light delicate florals)...anything too strong gives me migraines.

Fave books: Of Mice and Men, Catcher in the Rye, The Geography of Bliss, The World without us, Bel Canto, The Color Purple, The Poisonwood Bible.

Fave music: so many! Prince, No doubt, Joss Stone, Mariah Carey, Maroon 5, Norah Jones, Pink, Fun, Amy Winehouse, Taylor Swift, Billy Joel, Elton John, John Mayer, Hall & Oates, Beastie Boys, Eminem, Dave Matthews, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Cherry Poppin Daddies, Marilyn Manson, Greenday, ska, punk, jazz, rock, rap, blues, pop, swing---my tastes are all over the place! (Not really any country or opera though)

Sports teams: I'm a proud supporter of The Ohio State University Buckeyes (NCAA), and The Columbus Blue Jackets hockey (NHL)

Things I love receiving: washi tape, ephemera, stickers, candy (non chocolate), beauty items, magnets, findings, notecards, embellishments, buttons, fabric bits, gel pens, glass beads, rubber stamps, pressed souvenir pennies and art/craft books or supplies.

What I'm not crazy about: anything "religious," tags, anime, video games, recipes, incense, plastic beads.

Overall my esthetic is off-beat and funky.
