I am happily married, work full time, and have 2 dogs. Therefore, I have little time to create! But when I do, I love making things for other people - I have enough of my crafts lying around!

I have been crafting pretty much my whole life...although seriously in zest for about the last 10 years. I finally realized my dream of having my own craft room several years ago to realize I now need two more! I'm sure folks can relate.

I am mainly into papercrafting, although I have dabbled in crosstitch, crochet and watercolor. I love making greeting cards. I also like pocket letters and would love to get more into happy mail/snail mail. It would be great to find a swap pal/pen pal! I have recently discovered Memorydex cards - and am obsessed. I know late to the game, but completely enamored. I have always found scrapbooks not really something I want to display. Memorydex is going to make it so easy to finally display my favorite photos. I am also recently into memory journaling using disc bound happy planner notebooks. I prefer the m ini size as is perfect for small, quick journal entries with cute layouts. I use a silhouette & cricut die cutting machines, which really opened my crafting world right up!

Some of my favorite things right now are Llamas/Alpacas, Otters, frogs & sloths. I am young at heart and love music - 30 Seconds to Mars & Muse are a couple of my current favorites, although am a big fan of the 80s also. I am an animal lover and vegan. I am also a 'tree-hugger' and am environmentally conscious. I live in the greater Seattle area, so the PNW. It is a beautiful area with a lot to offer in outdoor activity, we are very blessed. I am also a planner girl and LOVE my Happy Planner Minis. I use a dashboard format which works great to help me keep track of all my work stuff and life stuff easily. I love disc bound planners, and these are by far my favorites. :-) And finally, to keep me going for all that - I love coffee. I mean, I REALLY, REALLY love coffee. The statement, "but first, coffee" truly applies. My husband, who can't stand the stuff, has learned to make it for me - probably to keep the savage beast at bay - LOL.

I love themes when creating...and I am always surprised at the outcome! I never end up exactly where I thought I would when I started. It's a process - am I right??

I am generally a girly-girl, I like lace, sparkles, glitter, pearls - anything feminine and/or frilly.

Here are a few of the themes I love making & receiving:

I love both lots of embellishments & also CAS (clean and simple) looks

Halloween (not gory, but fun, cute, etc.)

Christmas/Winter (non-religious - i.e. Santa, elves, snowman, polar bears, etc.)

Some of the things I DON'T like:

Spiders. Cutesy kawaii ones are ok - but just, eeeew.

OK, if I'm honest, it's probably most bugs in general, I guess...(butterflies, bees, dragonflies, lady bugs are all good)

Political or religious themes - we all have our own views, and I just find it easier to not go there. :)

Zoos & 'traditional' Circuses - I believe that animals should be free and not kept hostage for our amusement. I DO like Circe Du Soleil type circus.

I can honestly 'get in to' most any theme. I always read my partner's profile and work to tailor my swaps to their preferences. I enjoy when my partners take the time to do the same.
