I love making cards, reading and living a frugal life. I also daydream about going into people's houses to help them declutter/organize, and then give the useful items to various charities in the Wisconsin Rapids area... which hopefully will become more then just a dream.
I use a lot of different elements when I make cards, but I really enjoy using ribbon, brads and unique rubber stamps (not just the flower, baby, animal ones that you see at the craft stores).
I am getting into the art of Rockabilly (cherries, vintage tattoos, pin-up girls, etc...)and have a thing for peacocks and purple.
I would love to someday have all the art on my walls be other people's original artwork. I'm well on my way with three drawings, a painting, and photographs.
I also enjoy the occult... but like my witches not to be ugly old hags! I'm more into tarot cards and celebrating the Sabbats/Esbats, then into the Goth end of it.
When it comes to jewelry I'm more of an earrings and rings type of girl. I wear a lot of earth tones, but since I love color sometimes I'll wear a white shirt just so my rings/earrings will show up better.
Since I do love color my house shows it!
My bedroom is a dusty rose with vintage skeleton key photos that my husband has taken. I'm hoping to find a tasteful nude (maybe on Etsy) for above the bed and a smaller one above the dresser.
The living room has a light blue accent wall with the ladies of Clue hanging out on them (a purchase from Etsy).
The bathroom is lilac with frogs and fairies complimenting the walls.
My kitchen has had it's cabinets painted a robin egg blue, with a distressed look so there is some dark brown peeking out. There's no real theme in there, but hope to find some artwork I like soon.
And my porch (my favorite room in the house)has three light green walls, and the fourth wall is painted in vertical stripes of three different greens (from light to dark)... It seems to have acquired a butterfly/dragonfly theme... along with bright flowers.
The Craft room has visions of being turned into a Shabby Chic creation room, but for now it was a wonderful pink and orange painting I got here on Swap-bot!
