Hi!

I'm Kim, I'm 28 years old and I have two kids, a 9 year old and a 2 year old. I'm a vegetarian. I recently was looking online to find my daughter a penpal and stumbled upon this website. I've now been doing swaps for a couple of months and am loving it! I've even started my own swaps! I mostly do ATC cards, all of which I hand draw or paint. I've mostly done them in watercolor and/or ink. I just love making little works of art and mailing them away! It makes my day when someone really likes them!

I love lots of music, almost everything but country music, yuk! Sorry!

I love Janis Joplin, the Doors, Beatles, Carole King, Fleetwood Mac, Queen and more great rock oldies!

I also love newer music like Lorde, French singer Camille, and Scroobius Pip.

I really can't think of more right now, but there's a ton more!

GoT, Rome, Doctor Who, Shameless, Misfits. There's more, I'm sure, can't think of it now.

I wouldn't quite call it a craft, because I think there's a difference between making crafts and arts. I'm not into glueing stuff and scrapbooking. I'm a fine arts student in college, and I love to paint with oils and I also love to draw, with charcoal or graphite. I'd love to explore more mediums and different forms of art, and hope to do so in my next few years of college.

I see that people have wish lists on their profiles. I don't really wish for anything in particular, but anything that's an art supply of some sort is always great. I don't want anything religious or preachy.

Also, regarding food, I have no allergies, but I am a vegetarian. So please don't send me anything that could have meat in it, or other animal products. Especially check candy that could have gelatin in it. Speaking of candy, I love chocolate! Not so much into fruity candy, or fruit filled chocolates.

As far as ratings go, I will give a 5 to people who meet the requirement but do not go over and beyond. Please, if you send me something you glued together in 5 minutes, it won't get a heart. I usually spend a minimum of two hours on the ATCs I make, because they are all hand drawn and painted. I love getting other ATCs that are hand done. That doesn't mean I hate collage ones, they just don't appeal as much. But I know they can be done really nicely, and if it looks like you put effort into it, I will give you a heart. I won't give hearts just because you put extras in there.

I have a 10 year old daughter named Hailee. She loves to dance, right now she's taking Ballet, Hip hop and Jazz classes. She also loves singing and acting and is about to start at a Musical Theater Academy that she had to audition into, she is so thrilled to have been accepted! She is in 5th grade, and is such a great big sister to her younger brother, Desmond. She has a few pen pals, she had like 10 at one point, but the letters slowly stopped coming back. It's hard for kids to keep up, but it is so worth it for them if they do! She likes books and tv too. Doctor Who, Adventure Time, My Little Pony... the list goes on.

Desmond will be 3 in April. He has a pen pal or two also, but it's mostly sticker swapping and drawings! He's got a lot of energy and is a big sweetheart and mommy's big helper!
