I am a mom, grad student and crafter. I spend the majority of my time caring for my family. I study medical sociology, I have two children 2months and four years old.My son is a heart patient, so I spend a lot of time at medical apts. I love to knit, sew, embroider, do altered books and quilt.

I love to read british literature and fiction--however, I spend the majority of my time reading parenting books. I am obsessed with collecting craft, sewing and kintting books I don't have.

I love the old eighties stand-bys--Harry Met Sally, Sixteen Candles etc. I also likee chic flix. I don't like horrer or thrillers. I can watch some of my favorite movies over and over and still see something new.

I like the typical stuff--Greys Anatomy, Notes from the Underbelly. My favorite show is(was) the Gilmore Girls--I have all of the DVD's and could answer all of the Gilmorology. My new obsession is What Not To Wear, the American version--but I loved the BBC version too.

I started out knitting, but I do sewing, embroidery, altered, and quilting. My favorite is sewing. I like to take simple things and turn them into funkey projects. I am obsessed with anything vintage--I love vintage buttons and fabric.

I live a pretty simple life, I don't like to travel, I am more of a home body. I don't collect anything. My favorite things to do are hang out in my studio and do crafty stuff. I love to eat junk food in bed and watch frasier with my husband and my favorite meal of the day is breakfast. I love Strong coffee--anything Peets and I adore milk chocolate--I have to eat a little every day.

I am rarely alone, so the thing I always wish for is alone time to have a cup of coffee in bed, go to the movies or craft.

Weird facts about me: I can't cook--I am a disaster in the kitchen. I have travled everywhere--but don't like to travel. I am terrible with directions and I love junkfood binges while watching my favorite old movies I have already seen over and over.

I ususally listen to classical in the car with the kids, but I am a closet hard rock fan too(a reminder of party days) I also love Jazz, oldies and country.

I love combinations of colors pink/brown green/brown. I also love natural, soft colors--salmon, creams and greys. I hate neons and bright colors. I love bubble baths and candles. I hate to watch sports--especially...golf. I always appreciate a hand made gift more than a store bought gift.
