I'm a stay at home mom who loves creating. Scrapping, altering, sewing, photography, baking...I love it all! I was never creative/crafty as a child but I seem to be more and more so as an adult. Creating is really an outlet for me...something I enjoy and feel passionate about. It's not so much the process but the end result. I love looking at a completed project and saying, "Wow! I just took these plain things and made THIS!"

I only have one child...a rough and tumble boy. He is so active and wild and fun and he keeps me on my toes. He's 6 (and a super smarty pants...very intelligent) and will be starting kindergarten this year. His latest addiction is tools. We call him Handy Cade and he always says, "I'm just like Handy Manny!" (from the cartoon) He's the main subject of my photography. He's so darn cute...he makes the perfect subject! ;)

We're back home in good ol' Texas and we couldn't be happier!

I must listen to music every day. It really speaks to my emotions. I love ALL music. My tastes range from Amy Winehouse to Guns N Roses to Jamie Lidell to Brad Paisley to Ludacris to Etta James to Phillips Craig and Dean. Like I said, I love it all!

I don't watch too much tv but when I do it's usually a reality show. I love So You Think You Can Dance, Real Housewives of Orange County. Oh, and I love The Office...that's what she said! ;)

*Shabby chic (distressed, aged, vintage, antique)

*Gorgeous color combos--aqua, pink and white. Chocolate brown and lime green.

*Cupcakes! Recipes, decorations (sprinkles, metal frosting tips, fondant shapes, etc)

*Recipes. I enjoy baking and cooking and trying new recipes. I'm on the hunt for gluten free recipes that are chock full of veggies and are easy to make. I'm in desperate need of a new, organized cookbook. Maybe I'll make one for myself someday!

*Aprons. Love them! I put one on and I transform into Martha Stuart/Betty Crocker! Seriously, I can get some house cleaning/cooking/crafting done when I have an apron on! lol I've been sewing quite a few lately. Love fun and funky ones.

*Fabrics. FreshCuts, Amy Butler, Michael Miller, Urban Chicks, Mod Girls, Sis Boom, Moda, and Joel Dewberry. Yummm! Love to make fun purses/handbags...need new patterns.

Notions...love buttons. And ribbon, especially satin and grosgrain. I mean, I really *love ribbon!

*Glitter! Glass glitter, superfine glitter. Anything sparkley!

*Polka dots. Preferably white polka dots on any color background (black, pink, aqua, lime green, etc.) I'm actually on the hunt for black fabric with small cream colored polka dots.

*Bling! I love vintage rhinestones and costume jewelry. Old earrings and brooches and buckles. Anything that'll give my projects extra sparkle.

*Fresh cut flowers...roses and peonies and hydrangea, especially pink hydrangea. Love having a vase of flowers on my table.

*Gardening. I'm growing squash and tomoatoes now. This is my little test drive to make sure I can actually cultivate a garden and not just flat out kill everything! lol If it works,I'll eventually plant more veggies.

*Chocolate. Probably my number one addiction! lol Love milk chocolate and white chocolate, not a big fan of the dark stuff.

*Wrapping gifts. I have so much wrapping paper and tissue paper and I still want more! I love wrapping gifts and making them super cute.

*Target and Pottery Barn. LOVE!

I don't think have too many specific dislikes.

*Primary colors. I just don't like primary/brights too much.

*Cutesy stuff, like Mrs. Grossman's stickers. Or Disney stuff.

*Creative Memories. Just not my style.
