Hi, I'm new to all of this but am excited to get swapping! I'm a newly single mum to a 13 year old boy and have recently started writing to penpals all over the world, I found out about Swap-bot through one of them. I help run a small business called Westport Ironworks and we specialise in Internal Stabling, I work from home which allows me to pick and choose my hours. I am not a girly girl, my friends and family call me a free spirit/hippy as I'm happy to just go with the flow. I'd say I was a free spirited hippy that has a secret goth side waiting to make an appearance every now and then!

My son is obsessed with football so I have decided that each holiday we take will involve us visiting a football stadium, this year he wanted to see San Siro and Juventus so we went to Italy and next year we are going to Paris so he can see Parc des Princes.

I learnt to crochet earlier this year and find it very therapeutic, I also enjoy baking much to my sons delight as he gets to sample everything I make! I enjoy reading, my favourite author is Stephen King and my favourite books are IT, Carrie and The Shining. I am ever so slightly obsessed (ok majorly) with Hello Kitty and My Little Pony, my favourite is Twilight Sparkle not only because she is purple, which is my favourite colour but I like her multicoloured hair and sparkly wings!- anything that sparkles is perfect for me! I enjoy trying to make my own jewellery but I'm a novice at this, I also enjoy photography and again I am a novice at this but I'm going to persevere as I find it therapeutic. I have recently started to swap postcards, they can be of anything- artistic, tacky, of where you live etc, I stick them on my fridge which means I've also started to collect fridge magnets! I have also recently bought myself a planner and have started buying washi/deco tapes to pretty it up- I know have more tapes then I know what to do with!

I love anything that is handmade, I prefer buying or making items like this as gifts as I feel they are unique and show that love and thought have gone into it.
