I'm very into all sorts of fiber arts. Longtime seamstress, Crocheter/Knitter & quilter. I especially like knitting socks. I do not spin or do counted cross stitch, but have been known to occasionally go on a needlepoint jag. Looking to learn traditional rughooking.

Blues, Greens, Teals, Purples, Black or grey as neutrals. Dark bluey- garnetty reds.

pastels, yellow & oranges generally a bad idea.

Current fave "new" color pairing - chocolate brown & turquoise.

I am a strict vegetarian. Specifically Ovo-Lacto (I can have a bit of eggs or dairy products but nothing that is meat or a meat based stock). Other than that, spicy is a good thing & I love exploring different spice combinations used in other countries. While I'm reasonably healthy on the rest of my diet, there is no such thing as bad chocolate!

I am seriously into tea. I love teabags in all sorts of flavors I might not have ever found. Other "instant" things like cocoa mixes are cool too.

I'm an empty nester with a great husband & 4 cats at home. I love to garden, especially perenials & herbs. I collect buttons - especially shell buttons of any age or wear level. Any white/grey/cream sort of shell buttons.
