I'm a stay-at-home-Mom with a combined total of four kids (ages ranging from 4 to 10), plus cats, a snake and my new puppy!

Do I have a day job? Nope, I'm just the head chef, maid, chief financial officer, laundry specialist, day planner, personal secretary, school volunteer, fashion advisor, petsitter, animal trainer, errand runner, transportation logistics organizer, personal shopper, walking encyclopedia and the Keeper Of All The Knowledge. Etc...

I have eleven tattoos, which seems to surprise people. I LOVE tattoos, and I really enjoy tattoo-inspired art.

The BF and I are avid trading card game players and collectors. It's a crazy hobby, but it's very fun, especially together. We also are pirate 'eventers', though we are not SCA affiliated. I'm really into Pirates. Real pirates, Jack Sparrow, dressing like a pirate and being all-together pirate-y!

I think I'm fairly easy to please, and I really love getting mail!

Books: I love a lot of supernatural fiction. I read trashy romance novels to kill boredom... I love Laurell K. Hamilton's Merry Gentry series, and I've been reading her Anita Blake series, and Kim Harrison's The Hollows series.

Music:

My favorite band is LUDO! I also adore Tommy & The High Pilots.

I also like... I guess it's mostly "soft pop"? Michael Buble, Sara Bareilles, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Darius Rucker. And also Britney, Christina, Avril... And some country. :) (A little bit of a lot of different stuff!)

Crafts: I'm a scrapbooker mostly, or a 'paper crafter' and a Close To My Heart addict.

I don't sew or embroider or knit or crochet or quilt or anything! I actually never considered myself 'crafty' or artistic at all, until I discovered scrapbooking.

I'm a proud owner of a CriCut Expression and a REALLY EXCITED new owner of a Tim Holtz Sizzix VAGABOND! :D

My 2013 Resolution is to actually do Project Life; if you are sending me cool papers or paper scraps you think I might love, please make them at least 3"x4" (or 4"x6") so I could use them in my PL, please. I don't need ATC blanks or backgrounds but I can always make more filler or journaling cards!

I am really enjoying Twinchies and Altered Rolodex Cards right now. I have a tray-style rolodex holder, so I prefer the backs of my rolos to be 'right-side-up', please. I use the 2 1/4"x4" or 2 5/8"x4" cards.

Color: Orange! ORANGEORANGEORANGE. I also love turquoise/teal/aqua.

Television: My "must-see"s are Bones, Dexter, NCIS and CSI. And Elementary. Okay, and SYTYCD. We also watch a lot of MythBusters!

Movies: Pirates of the Caribbean (all four); teenagery romantic comedies like Ten Things I Hate About You; anything Johnny Depp, especially with Tim Burton.

Candy: You know what's awesome? Jelly Bellies are! Sour Punch Straws, or Airheads Belts, and things like that that are fruity and chewy and sweet but also sour! I prefer dark chocolate, always. I love caramels and almonds. Pocky! And Nestle Aero bars! Mmmm!

Food: Carbs. As awful as that may be. I love fresh bread, and cheeses... and cream cheese. I love artichokes and olives and Subway! I drink diet Dr. Pepper almost exclusively now, as far as soda goes. I can't stand any of the other diet sodas. Also, I love matcha!

Clothes: I love super soft fabrics and fuzzy scarves. I love fingerless gloves and arm warmers. I rarely wear hats. I have a passion for hoodies (XXL) and slippers! I wear size 8US shoes/socks. I can NOT wear knee socks, sadly!

Scents: I can't stand a lot of chemically smells, or anything highly scented. We use non-scented...almost everything. I don't burn candles, though I have a few pretty ones sitting around. Incense and air-fresheners give me a nasty headache. I do wear perfume, though not every day. I wear Armani Mania, Beyonce Heat and Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy.

KIDS

• Destiny, 10 (birthday: April 15)
• Taryn, 8 (birthday: August 3)
• Zoe, 7 (birthday: August 2)

The girls love the Disney Princesses, Tinkerbell (and the other faeries), Hello Kitty, and unicorns. They like to play with Littlest Pet Shop toys and Monster High & Barbie dolls, and drawing/coloring/painting! They'd love handmade or gently used Barbie clothes/accessories. They all love purple and pink.

• JJ, 15 (birthday: August 10); he's a high school sophomore and he likes Harry Potter, Hunger Games and Twilight; enjoys Drama/plays, reading, writing stories and plays and playing with his NERF guns. He doesn't like chocolate. (He's not currently living with us.)

• Devereaux, 4 (birthday: March 23); he loves Thomas the Train, Spiderman, DINOSAURS, Batman and Disney's Cars and Toy Story characters. He LOVES his wood train set and Matchbox cars. His favorite show is on PBS, it's called Dinosaur Train!

THE BF

• Josh (birthday: February 6); aka 'Simba' (He is @Simba here!); he loves to play Magic: The Gathering, and video games on the computer or Wii. He likes to play card or board games in general, and solve logic puzzles and sodokus. He's interested in physics, math, astronomy, and learning Latin. He adores cute/goofy/intelligent humor tshirts (Men's size XL). He loves RedVines, Skittles and Starbursts; and he likes pretty much anything pineapple or coconut (but hates chocolate).

MY PUPPY
This is Phoenix. His birthday is May 4th, 2012, he's a Shiba Inu. We ADORE him!!!

He loves noisy toys that jingle or squeak but aren't stuffed, and natural/organic (no corn and no soy) treats. He loves bully sticks and can not have rawhide.

We should always try to learn from dogs...
- When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
- Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
- Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy.
