I am a mother of a girl and boy and a wife, my family is the most important thing in the world! I am lucky enough to be able to stay at home and raise my children too! I love sewing things and crafts are generally a very happy and much done thing in our house. We like to make whatever we can or reuse or recycle as there is so much waste in the world but I do have a passion for lovely new fabric and trims such as Heather Ross, Amy Butler and the like -all so lovely. I also love to hunt out vintage fabrics , buttons and bits and bobs that could come in useful. I love colour , pattern and texture (see the above fabric designers for inspiration). I am just in the process of setting up a website , blog and etsy shop to sell my wares !

I do like music it is the backdrop to my life, I listen to BBC Radio 6 almost constantly- that is if i'm not listening to other stuff. The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show is the best but I can't stand modern soul music at all!

I love reading , I read several books at any one time - I am a bit of a book junkie really and once started I find it very hard to not finish even if I dislike the story, but I will NOT read anything to do with murder or crime and romantic fiction is so lame!

The films I watch are along the same lines as the books I like - good story nothing slasher, horror, murder really. 'Withnail and I' is in my all time top 5 as is 'Spinal Tap!'

TV- well Doctor Who, the new BBC Sherlock Homes was amazing, and anything intelligent and interesting. I don't watch much TV actually. Cant stand reality TV, gameshows, soaps, talent contest etc. Good Drama occasional film never have it on just for the sake of it. Monty Don is a must though and againt my better instincts i do like to watch Top Gear...

I sew - by hand and machine and I will have a go at anything really . I want to learn crochet soon !

I am not religious at all and accept others are but want no part myself. I believe in nature and love and do as thou would be done by. I do not eat anything that had legs but do eat fish. I don't like dogs - really so there! I love cooking and gardens and The national Trust.
