Ello all! My name is Mandalyn but feel free to call me Mandy. I have used the alias The Lovely Snail as long as I have been pen palling, so feel free to use that as well. I am a 25 year old married stay at home mom. My daughter (Jessie) was born in April of 2013 and I love her with all my heart. I am bias and I think she is the most beautiful thing in the whole world! But don't all of us moms feel that way. :) before being a SAHM I was a CNA at Shriners hospital for children and before that I was a teacher at a Montessori school. I loved both of this jobs but I know I am right where I am supposed to be. I can't wait to get to know more people though this site, so until our paths or letters cross, ttyl!

I love the Beatles! Nothing beats a rainy day with the record player blasting a little "Revolution" ;) I also enjoy pretty much anything spanning from the mid 70's through the 80's. I don't care too much for today's music, it doesn't have any soul or meaning anymore,

I am currently reading "Secret Circle". I love anything Stephen King, I read the entire PLL series. Hannibal rising is my favorite book of all times, I've read it more times than I can count.

My husband and I haven't had cable in over three years.... So needless to say our movie collection is a bit extreme. Will Ferrel is my favorite actor along with Johnny Depp. I am a kid at heart so I still watch Disney movies too :)

Now that we have cable and Netflix I have quiet a list of shows I enjoy... Pretty Little Liars, Once Upon A Time, Revenge, Switched at Birth, Vampire Diaries (team Damon for sure! Yum!) American Horror Story, Orange is the new black and who knows what else lol

Scrap booking, smash booking, book altering, knitting, decorating my penpal envelopes, painting, drawing, sewing, and refurbishing pretty much anything. I also make jewelry that I sell, The Fancy Hat Giraffe is my label name. :)

Cussing, please don't send me anything with foul language, I don't mean to be disrespectful to anyone but I will not read it, I will simply throw it out.

I love all things vintage, and if it comes in mint green, it's my style lol. Buttons and lace, cameos and type writers I can't get enough.
