Hello, I’m new to swap-bot. I’m really not good at filling out these things so if my profile is to wordy or doesn’t include something let me know please.. My interests are rather eclectic and are mainly fantasyesk especially stars, fairy’s (I have wings tattooed on my back), dragons, butterflys, “prettiness” (happy house rocks) glow in the dark anything,bees, ladybirds, kawaii (hello kitty and all asian cute characters I’m also after the cute tapes), Lolita styles, anything glittery/shiny sparkly (bring out the bling),“vintage” looks and 18th century shoes/fashions there’s something so romantic and beautiful about that period…..the colours the laces and style not forgetting the corsets which brings me to the beauty of burlesque,vintage “pin-up girls” (Betty Page-need I say any more drool)

However I’m also drawn to darker “alternate” themes found in areas such as the gothic culture and the “wicked” fairy tale witches, also there is a definite creative romanticism to life and death that intrigues me, Other likes are the punk/hard rock styles much love for olde school tattooing/sailor jerry images actually much love for tattooing and the body art culture in general, also I adore the gothic Lolita styles, have a deep interest in fetish and old vampire (sadly the new “trend” due to twilight kinda bugs me even though I read the books and enjoyed them but the hype is insane)

I don’t hate much at all BUT I do have a phobia of reptiles (serpents in particular however I can’t deal with lizards of any kind either) so anything with the skin prints or ANYTHING that even slightly features them will result in my making a negative post about whomever sent the item, rating 0 and if possible a minus heart (sounds harsh but I do have a medical/clinical phobia about them….and no I’m not overreacting) though I do like frogs and turtles but there considered amphibians (I think)

Anyway back to likes I’m also a HUGE collector (yeah ok so horder is more like it :p) besides craft related things I absolutely adore pens of all styles mainly gel and cute ones BUT if it’s a pen with a company logo and or if its medical related (such as the things that drug reps leave at chemists) that’s extra special !!!! actually to be honest anything that’s from “drug reps” I collect :) I also love nail polish (in fact I have over 300 bottles), am a huge fan of make-up and hair accessories and jewelry aswell in all sorts of styles both light and dark. When it comes to sweets I’m a total chocoholic its one of my main food groups :) and I adore plain ones or ones with soft centers I’m not fond of nut ones. I also adore “cute” childrens candy (things that come in cute or strange containers..I LOVE packaging :)’ Fave colours is a tough one for me but at the moment it would probably be black, pink, purple, blue, red, silver, lime green, and I adore irridecent paint. I’ve been told I’m a very easy person to gift for and appreciate the thought that people put into things :)

Again here my tastes are quite eclectic. My ultimate fave artist is the legendary David Bowie (all hail “the area”) other fave artists of mine (in no order) are Enya, Vivaldi, Morphine, Ballistic Cabaret, Moldy peaches, Nick Cave, Pj Harvey, Bjork, Emilie Autumn, Wendy RuleDisturbed, Dresden Dolls, Alice cooper (the new album is awesome) ,Marilyn Manson, Bon Jovi, Red hot chili peppers, Guns n roses (80’s music rocks) and whatever I hear that interests me at the time :)

I’m an avid reader and will read almost anything I can get my hands on I LOVE LOVE fantasy !!!! ( anything that features magic/fairy captures me I’ve read all the harry potter books a million times :p) I also read the twilight series about 6 months ago then was told about the “house of night” series which sadly I’m now also hooked on . I also ADORE (well maybe not the best choice of words) reading books on profilers and serial killers it may sound kinda strange at first BUT I’m really interested in the psychology of both the criminal and the ways they get caught.

At the moment I’m more into TV series’s however some of my all time fave movies are Labyrinth (David Bowie drool) the dark crystal, spirited away, kiki’s delivery service, alice in wonderland, sweeny todd (the new one), Nightmare Before Christmas all the shreks, harry potters and all pirates of the caribbean !! madagascar, finding nemo, moulin rouge, into the woods, and probably a few others that I can’t think of right now

Right now my fave is dvd, well to be more specific box sets of tv shows such as Bones, Dexter, CSI (Las Vegas), Criminal Minds, NCIS (Abby is sooo cute I totally LOVE her style), House, Miami ink, LA Ink (kat von d is hot), Crossing Jordan, although quite old I’m a big fan of Twin Peaks, Red Dwarf, The X Files

Firstly I was totally hooked on bead craft, making jellerey and decorative things which led into fimo (well sculpy) craft, then got into card making especially using stamps with embossing powders/ hand colouring. Then went to hole punches (I’d love some of the ones that are used to makes holes which ribbon gets threaded through) and using brads, pearls, paints love the pebeo iridescent and lumiere ranges. All usually used to make cards which is something that I’m always doing. However I have started to get into ATC makings aswell, there such cute lill works of art !!
I also “try” sketching/painting but am not able to do anything realistic. I like playing around with different styles of painting background papers scrunching then covering anything in site. I’m also always painting/embellishing boxes either as gifts for people or just for future gifts.
