I am a quilter and love everything related to fabric. Dyeing fabric, printing and stamping on fabric is my passion.
Other hobbies are travelling, photographing, reading English books, playing the guitar, baking
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you don't receive something from me, please message me and I will quickly and happily resend! But please be aware that mail overseas sometimes takes up to 4-5 weeks (at other times it may arrive within a week - I have no idea why!?!?)
I usually give a heart, even for postcards or things that are not to my taste. I assume that the sender liked what he/she sent. On the other hand I don't give a heart if I get something sloppy or broken, where it is obvious that the sender didn't care to send something decent.
Please don't send me Christmas postcards with dogs or cats! Thank you!
I'd be thrilled to get postcards with views from places along the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago)!
Other favorites:
I prefer my postcards naked (stamped and written on), not in an envelope! And I'd rather not have handmade postcards!
I don't like huge postcards! If possible send me postcards of normal size!
I love, love ad postcards, BUT please don't send me cards with just a lot of text, that are only invitations for an event. I prefer those that are little pieces of art or show a piece of art or a pretty landscape or those that are funny or even weird.
Ad postcards only, if the swap says so, please!
My goal is to have at least one elongated coin / pressed penny from every US state.
These are the states I don't have any pennies from yet. If you sent me a coin from these states you'd make my day ;)
Right now my greatest passion is collecting elongated coins! I prefer those from famous places and landmarks or National Parks and Monuments rather than coins from zoos, museums or amusement parks.
I am also collecting champagne caps! Please don't throw them away, but send them to me ;-)
I have a growing collection of porcelain souvenir thimbles from places from all over the world and would love to get one from your homeplace :-)
I love everything vintage and I am collecting rusty items.
I also like pins, especially Quilt pins
I am collecting cookie cutters (I have quite a big collection already, so I don't need any more simple shapes like stars, hearts, etc.), vintage kitchen items and baking molds!
Coffee - Sweets, especially Hot Tamales, Fruit gums, Jelly Beans - Red Wine - Summer - Lemon/Lime - Mint, especially mint flavoured icecream - Candles, especially scented ones - Fantasy like Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings - Olive Trees - Civil War fabrics - Batiks - Amish quilts
Realizing I have a Secret Santa swap partner from New Zealand I have to add that I love love love any New Zealand related items, Kiwiana and especially Maori designs :-)
I also love any unique and distinct items from any other country!
Here is a list of items I'd love to get:
ELONGATED COINS
Champagne caps
Souvenir thimbles
solar bobble dancing figures
Sewing and Quilting supplies
Quilt patterns and books
Fabric - patchwork quality only
Pins
Rubber stamps
Jim Shore figurines
Anything made from Olive wood

I don't have any food allergies, but I hate things that smell of cigarette smoke.
Postcards with cats or dogs
Tea, instant coffee
Bath additives (I never have a bath, I prefer to shower) Please don't send me any cosmetics or skin care products, because I am allergic to some ingredients!
Soap
Recipe cards
Socks (I prefer to go barefooted!)
I have no use for bookmarks as I am using an e-reader.
I don't have any use for paper crafting / Scrapbook items!
Handmade items.... some handcrafted things may be gorgeous but more often they are not to my taste.... so, thank you, rather not...
Currently I have more than enough of the following items: washi tape, lettersets/stationery, pens, notebooks, paperclips, stickers, sticky notes.
I spent a lot of money and effort knitting and sending out a scarf without getting anything in return from Jessi Webber @asmallstar on the Christmas Scarves Exchange.
@leahs3girls - Merry Christmas Card Swap
M S @ShadowRoxStar partricipated in several swaps but never sent anything. Once again I sent out Christmas presents without getting anything in return :-(.
