About Me

I live in New York City with my husband and our two dogs. I have moved 8 times in 10 years, trying to find just the right apartment. I love knitting and have started stamping/scrapbooking. In addition to my career, I try to volunteer with New York Cares at least a few times a month. I am always interested in trying new things, especially food!

Favorite Books

I love anything by John Irving. I also read a lot of young adult novels, as I like to read things before I buy them for my niece & nephew. I also read Charlaine Harris (before True Blood came out), Meg Cabot, Mary Janice Davidson, and most things people recommend to me.

Toad the Wet Sprocket, Meat Loaf, Billy Joel, Broadway shows, the cast of Glee

Favorite Movies

John Cusack rocks! Tropic Thunder grew on me so I crack up whenever I watch it now. I love comedies and rom-coms. I enjoy drama and suspense, but I need to mix it up a bit - life is too serious to watch it for entertainment!

Mike & Molly, Caprica, NCIS, Chuck, Hawaii 5-0, House, Being Human, Demons, Law&Order SVU

Comment: Hiya. I've ummed and ahhed about this but decided in the end I'd be honest with you. I've rated a 5 because you met swap requirements etc, but did feel that your ATC was quite poor. The last thing I want to do is offend you or dishearten you, I promise that's not my intention. I read your letter in the envelope first and when I read you'd chosen Kate I thought it was a really interesting choice, but when I got the ATC out I was disappointed as I felt you could have done so much more than paint an ATC red and paint the word 'Kate' on it. I felt like there was no 'A' in your 'ATC', if you see what I mean! Your other ratings are good, so perhaps it was an off day? Again, I just want to say that I don't mean to offend you or leave you feeling disheartened, but maybe next time add a bit more to it? xxx
