My personal website is in the process of being made & should be up next week. In the meantime, I have an Etsy page. I LOVE Etsy!I love to make all kinds of things, though I lean toward fabric & metal. I went to art school in Chicago many years ago. I love to use traditional craft techniques in new & wildly exciting ways. I have 2 skinny calico cats & one extremely pampered fluffy dog named Mu. I am constantly in flux and always trying to figure out what to do next. Currently, I am moving to a commune in upstate New York for a year to take care of their garden and start their arts program with a friend of mine. I'm very excited about it! I may stay there for another year or I may go back to school for folkloristics. I fought Muay Thai boxing for 12 years and had to sadly stop doing it as your body can only take so much. Now I do lots of yoga and try to undo the damage I did boxing. I loved boxing and now I love yoga!

Quilting, embroidery, stumpwork, quillling, collage, anything with metal and fabric, jewelry making (mostly with brass, copper, and silver), sewing, chair decorating (you know, find an old chair and fix it up) weaving, yoga, piano playing, walk with my dog, cook lots of good vegetarian food, read, read, read, plant little gardens here and there, contemplate the universe, check my mail obsessively, study folklore, swim, and take ridiculously long showers.

My favorite colors are green, that new spring leaf green, purple and metallic gold. I love anything shiny...copper, gold, silver, brass...I love glitter and sparkles and hot pink and appropriate doses. I love flowers of all kinds and variety and rusty anything but especially weird little bits of stuff. I love animals (all animals) but don't collect animal stuff...unless it's super cool. Super cool means unusual, strange, one of a kind and beautiful. I love ugly beautiful. I love Guillermo del Toro. I love movies about monsters and aliens. I love sci-fi, religous iconography (of any denomination- I always find it beautiful), old black and white photos (especially of people I don't know), blue glass, old flower vases, stamps (both rubber and the postal variety), paints, FABRIC, and things with tiny patterns on them.
