Okay hi!!!!! My names Melissa and I am well.... Basically I'm a modern day rosie the riveter! I'm a divorced single mom of two AMAZING little girls! They are the light of my life! A typical day for me starts @ 4am when I get ready for a 12 hour day on the assembly line. After that I'm off to play the role of Girl Scout troop leader, Soccer mom, Volleyball mom and Swim Club mom. We always manage to somehow squeeze in homework, dinner and relaxation!! So sufficient to say I'm always busy!!

My favorite hobbies are hiking, camping, rock climbing, and geocaching!!!! I love being outdoors! and I try to teach my girls to respect nature and enjoy the simple things.

My favorite things are anything shiney (lol), anything glittery, anything kawaii, Hello Kitty, Vintage and/or retro items, pin-ups, sugar skulls, steampunk, owls, and anything pink!!!!

If I had to pick one thing that would make me super epic awesome happy it would be a super soft, pink, glittery, furry, soft (yes I really want it soft), cuddly blanket.....with rainbows....and unicorns on it. OR something cool and handmade.

As a general rule I'm super laid back and always in a good mood. So if your ever in doubt, DON'T BE! I'll love it!!!! And the kookier the better!!!

I wish I had more space (I had an awesome craft room at my old house) to do the things I love! I enjoy sewing and creating outfits for my girls as well as quilting. I've made resin craft jewelry which was fun! I knit and crochet, though admitedly I'm not all that phenomenal at either one. I use a drop spindle to spin yarn from time to time. And I enjoy making soap. I don't get into scrapbooking simply because I haven't enough time to dedicate to it. I do however LOVE STICKERS!!!!!

I love to read things that make you think. I'm not really into romance novels. Would much rather read something more in depth. I do enjoy some humor though!!!! Like "Are you there vodka? It's me Chelsea." I guess its not really reading but I adore Kerri Smith!!! What I'm current;y reading is "We the living" by Ayn Rand

I have to admit.... I love jersey shore and jerseylicious. I know a lot of people don't like either one but they are my guilty pleasures. :-) I also have been known to curl up in front of shows like Moonshiners, doomsday preppers, and gold rush.
