I enjoy 70s, 80s music, and practically everything except heavy metal head banging stuff. My kids have even turned me on to a little rap, which isn't all that bad.

Originally from Hartford, Connecticut, I went to college in Portland, Maine, and stayed there for 20 years until 1998 when I married a man from Albany, New York. I have lived in Albany for 13 years now. I am 52 years old and have 2 sons, ages 10 and 11. Currently I am moving out of my marriage, physically and emotionally, and into a small apartment with my boys. Trying to figure out which crafts I'll be able to take with me and which I must unfortunately leave behind.

I have 2 part-time jobs, one as a phlebotomist and one as a merchandiser for a big chocolate company. Did I mention? I LOVE CHOCOLATE!

I like to read cookbooks!! Also, I enjoy true crime books (like Ann Rule and that genre), biographies, Jonathan Kellerman, James Patterson and Robin Cook novels.

Also, magazines I like to read include People, InStyle, O (Oprah's), and any cooking magazine.

Going back some, my favorite movies include On Golden Pond, Arthur, anything with Bette Davis or Joan Crawford, and I could watch Gone With the Wind every night of the week.

Will and Grace, Golden Girls, Seinfeld, Sopranos, A&E, Lifetime, History Channel.

I like to knit, crochet a little, and bead (especially with Swarovski beads). I have tried Donna Dewberry painting and have a hundred bottles of paint and a million brushes, several books, too. I have tried rubber stamping, bow tying, calligraphy, paper crafts. I LOVE cake decorating and baking (I think those are crafts!). Favorite colors are yellow, white, and blue (not necessarily together).

I collect cookbooks, especially baking books and have more than I care to admit to!
