I live in Akron, Ohio with my husband of nearly 36 years, Roger.We have a Boston Terrier named Winnie, and two cats, Coco and Archie. Our son and daughter-in-law live in Baton Rouge, LA, and our daughter lives in Chicago. Our favorite times are visiting them in their wonderful cities, or having them home for a visit. I love taking care of our home and animals, and volunteering in the community.

I usually have NPR on in the car. In my laundry room the radio dial is on a hip-hop station, and in the kitchen I will put in a DVD that corresponds to my mood.

I like almost any movie made before 1955.

I watch too much TV during the Winter. Favorites are: I Love Lucy, Andy Griffith, Mad Men, Parks and Recreation, Larry David, Entourage, Nurse Jackie, Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations (on the Travel Channel), and House Hunters International on HGTV.

I enjoy embroidery, punch needle, cross stitch and needlepoint. I love to wrap gifts, especially using recycled wrappings. Now that I have discovered ATCs, I love creating them.

I am most interested in getting to know people and to get a glimpse of what they are like through their style and art. I would like anything sent to me to be a reflection of the sender. Just send what you would like to receive, and what you like to create, and I will love it!
