I am a grandmother of five, just got remarried to a wonderful man. Retired and love it. Favorite color is blue. Any shade. I love the Christmas colors red, and green and also silver. Christmas is my favorite holiday, I am like a child when it comes to Christmas, the hustle and bustle, the music and the lights and decorations. I have 3 adult children too. Plus a rescued Boston Terrier, who is 9 years old. I now have great grandson who is almost 2 years old.

I like jazz, oldies, and some classical. Also easy listening music, instumentals, pianos especially. Learning to play the piano, I'm a very beginner.

Read mostly fiction, some romance and mysteries. But will read an occasion a biography. Just got a Kindle hope to master it. I do like authors such as Virginia Lowell, a Cookie Cutter mystery. Plus Nancy Coco a Candy coated mysteries beset in Mackinac island. This is close to me in Illinois. I am reading now Candy Holiday Murder mysteries. I seem to like books that include food of some sort. 2 New authors I just discovered are William Kent Krueger set in Minnesota where I was born and Sally Goldenbaum.

I really like scrapbooking and paper crafts. But do a lot of other crafts and want to learn new ones. I am trying now to learn to crochet and knit. I also like adult coloring, so new passion. I love coloring. I will also try painting, oil and acrylics.

Enjoy doing genealogy, love animals: dogs and cats plus birds. Love the color blue. Love watching the birds in the feeders. Also love flowers especially roses and like to garden. Love chocolate and love to drink tea, herbal teas especially.

I am a church going person, very important to me. Prayers are something I believe in also. I always get an answer sometimes no or wait.
