Favorite Music
classical (esp. baroque chamber)to country (jodee messina; alan jackson) but my pre-sets in my car are mostly on my public radio station. music is mp3 for walking (6- 8 mi. a day)
Favorite Crafts
attracted to that which glitters; fond of metalwork; like stained glass and mosaic. I tend to work big so I don't have use magnifiers ( a vision thing).

ONLY WATCH ONE SHOW- HEROES ( BUT I MANAGE TO MISS EVERY OTHER EPISODE)
when tvs go high-def only, i may not get one. I can't realy se t.v. very well, anyway. It is like radio to me.
Favorite Books
Yeah, lost my reading vision- so I don't do much of that any more.
i like blank books for art projects.
never met an altered book i did not like.
Volunteer
OTHER: Girl Scout leader (Brownies); they love a good craft; but the program is really about leadership development; lots of good teamwork and cooperation skill development in craft projects
i also train Cub Scout leaders.
Geo-politics
war makes me sad, breaks myheart and keeps me awake at night.
only buy fairly traded chocolate. google slavery, africa and chocolaate sometime. it will break your heart.

I did indeed Google slavery and chocolate, and I read a few articles before I finally got to one that listed producers and their partial involvement in child slavery through their purchase of Ivory Coast cocoa. Geesh, pretty much every major manufacturer I have ever known :( It's deeply saddening.
I did get the frame but not a cup. Maybe it will come soon?

Hello fellow swappers If you’ve been keeping an eye on my profile you may have noted the address changed a couple of times. That’s because in the last few weeks I’ve made two very unexpected moves and fallen behind on my swaps. As this is my first lot with swapbot im feeling highly embarrassed about the way it’s gone so far. I pride my self on being on time, always and this is quite frustrating to me.
I wanted to offer all my partners my most sincere and heartfelt apologies – I will be posting all of my swaps out this week or early next, but they ARE going out. You have most certainly NOT been forgotten or flaked on. My limited access to the net of late has also caused this apology also to be late, but I am on top of it and I have some pretty things to put in the post as soon as I can get to the post office.
