I live in country NSW, Australia. I'm a single mum who works full time have Primary School Age girls.
I'm not a girly girl (and neither are my children). I don't do cute handbags and makeup! A good messenger bag keeps me happy! I usually dress in Jeans/shorts and a t-shirt - I'm always on the lookout for unique (or even hand made/designed) t-shirts, but prefer a ladies fit (size 8-10 AU/UK sizes - about a small)
My favourite colours are purple, silver, brown (esp with aqua & pink), darker greens.
I like to sew, quilt, embroider, cross stitch and make inchies. I'm also trying my hand at needle felting and quilling.
I am a total failure at crochet and knitting!
My family has no allergies and we have no pets furry in our home (just a fish tank!). I occasionally smoke, but always outside and I always wash my hands thoroughly before picking up a craft project. I DO use recycled packaging - why wouldn't you - save a tree!
I love fabric, particularly quilting fabrics. Anything bigger than 2.5" square is always gratefully recieved, even scraps. FQ's and yardage would be even better ;) I prefer 100% cotton quilting fabrics. Ribbons (esp. grosgrain), lace, trims etc are also very useful.
I also have a thing for buttons, any are great, a set, an odd one, any colour, any style, anything goes.
My big projects that I am collecting for at the moment are:
Black and white inchie frame. I need probably about 300 more to complete this project. I'm happy with simply black and white or grey scale is cool too. I love artists choice for these as I really like to see what other people enjoy to draw. I do have an inchie inspiration board on my pintrest if you need some help. I totally prefer hand drawn to stickers, even if like me your artistic skills aren't that great. (B&W Rinchies would work too)
A King sized I-spy quilt. I need 2.5" fussy cut squares for this. Fussy cut means that you center the object to spy in the square. Anything goes for objects, the more obscure the better - cupcakes, ladybirds, animals, transport etc.
Australia is an island nation and have VERY strict quarentine laws. Many things are strictly prohibited - plants, seeds and even tea! If you are concerned, please check the web page: http://www.daff.gov.au/aqis/mail/cant-mail If you send something that is not permitted, it is likely that the whole package will be destroyed, please check before sending. Thank you.
I don't drink hot drinks
I don't like neons and not too many hot colours -particularly Orange but I totally don't mind any colour in moderation.
No scrapbooking supplies please unless the swap we are in particularly specifies it should be sent.
No wool or other yarn accessories please - I just won't use them. (Unless it's felting wool)
I don't collect post cards or ATCS.
I don't wear makeup or nail polish, but I do love perfume and body sprays.

Fabric - 100% cotton is preferable, scraps are great, charm squares, F8ths, FQ's or 1/2 or yardage is even better
Inchies/rinchies - I'm collecting black and white ones at the moment
Sharpies or similar
Ribbon or lace
Good quality sewing machine threads like gutterman
Ladies Fit t-shirts - size AU/UK 14-16 or Large. Anything unique is great.
Embroidery threads (DMC or Anchor)
Doilies or other vintage table linnen and accessories.
Buttons
Unique Clothes for my kids, probably sized for ages 3 or 5.
A Messenger bag
Small note cards to send out with swap packages
Ink pads - I'm particularly after a dark brown one, but any new colours would be great.
Necklace pendants - I ALWAYS have a black leather necklace on it and am always on the look out for new pendants. I wear them fairly tight - probably only 1-2" looser than a choaker.
Check out my pintrest for more ideas.
