My name is Lucy, I live in Yorkshire, England with my 5 rats; Kaos, Piff, Gomez, Prince and Herman. I enjoy swimming, slacklining and walking and recently got an adult push scooter which makes commuting to work great fun!

My other hobbies (apart from swapping!) are reading, baking, Morris dancing and photography.

I haven't been active on Swapbot for a while but am keen to get back into swapping!

Crafts I'm into at the moment are:- crocheting Amigurumi, sewing sock monsters and loom banding. I used to make lots of ATCs and am exploring inchie, zentangles and matchbox crafts at the moment…

Favorite Music

I like most music apart from hip hop and rap. Some of my favorite bands/artists are, Imagine Dragons, Family of the Year, REM, Nickelback, Zutons, The Feeling, Jimmy Eat World, Pink, Jose Gonzales, Holloways, Mika, Amy McDonald, McFly, Shadows, Willie Mason, My Chemical Romance, Zutons, Idlewild, Bond, Good Charlotte, Rascal Flatts, Dixie Chicks, Darius Rucker, Bleached Wail, Abney Park and Pendulum. My i-pod goes everywhere with me!

Favorite Books

I like fantasy, crime (espicially historical crime) travel books and biographies. Some of my favorite authors are Terry Pratchett, Naomi Novik, Caleb Carr, Susanna Gregory, JK Rowling, Bill Bryson and Robin Hobb.

I am also a Rainbow Orchid Reader orchid

Favorite Movies

Despicable Me, Wall-E, Watership Down, Flushed Away, Ratatouille, Annie, Bugsy Malone, St Trinians, X Men, any of the Harry Potter films, Pans Labyrinth, Holes, The Orpanage and anything by Studio Ghibli.

Favorite Television

Breaking Bad, Torchwood, Dexter, Deadwood, CSI, CSINY, Life on Mars, Heroes, Being Human, True Blood, Family Guy, anything historical.

I love

ATCs, rats, dragons, minions, dinosaurs, penguins, maps (especially old ones), rainbows, purple, red, silver, bead bracelets, beads, stickers, postcards, jelly beans, lollies, leaves, feathers, fairys, angels, stained glass, stars, amugurumi, comics, pens, beermats (clean ones please), the scent of lavender, the scent and/or taste of cinnamon, ginger or coconut.

I'm not keen on

jewellery apart from bracelets, hair acessories (I have short hair), pierrot clowns (the black and white ones), really strong flowery or musky scents.

hi, have followed you from another area, checked out some of your flivker pics of Amigurumi as i have not had one seen one in the real oh wow yours are great. particular like the gollys (male on best), dragon looks great, the penguin was fantastic. they all looked so clever. i went to look at the pics because you mention about sock monkeys , i have a feeling someone else i know has been making them but again i havenot seen one (yet). she was asking for odd/old socks last month so perhaps that is whet she is up to. do you have a pic of any? have a great week,
