Hello :)!
Legitimately just googled "How to describe yourself" because I'm so hopeless at things like this...I'm a 26 year old girl from the north of Ireland and I joined swapbot mainly to find a pen pal, although I plan on branching out and finding an outlet for my creative...er...juices, which often go ignored because I'm very bad at doing things without a deadline.
I guess you could call me a little immature for my age, in that I blatantly refuse to relinquish my love for anime, dolls (ball jointed dolls! See my flickr if you'd like to know more), manga and all things Steven Universe. I really love to connect with people who enjoy the same things I do as they are a rare breed here in N.I and I rarely get to talk about things I'm passionate about. Currently I am obsessed with horror manga and animes like Attack on Titan, Free! and Tokyo Ghoul. I've also always been an avid reader of fiction, particularly of the fantasy variety, and my favourite author is Chris Wooding!
I am also a keen amateur photographer and would love to learn alongside others who are maybe at my skill level, as again, I don't really have anyone nearby! Mainly I just photograph my dolls, but I really adore portrait photography and would love to build up my confidence with photographing people candidly.
I currently live in Belfast, Northern Ireland, with my girlfriend of ten years, our two cats Nova and Leo and our staffy puppy Toby. I recently registered to be a foster carer for abandoned animals and I can't wait to get my first placement.
I wasn't sure if this is necessary to say, but I figure that I'm not the only one in the world so maybe this might help us reach out to each other. I suffer from severe depression and have done for around eight years - I'm struggling through and intend to do so for as long as it takes.

Hey and welcome to Swapbot! I'm sure you'll enjoy it here. It's true, it takes a while to get accustomed to the site and to built a trustworthy rating. Why don't you join the Newbie Helpers Group? Very useful, there are swaps for Newbies as well as a lot of advice. If you want to do a private swap...drop me a message! :)
Welcome to Swapbot! I, too, suffer from severe depression, and I'm constantly trying to find ways to cope with it. It takes a while to build a trustworthy rating up on Swapbot, but this site is a lot of fun. If you need to do a private swap to get your ratings started, I am willing to swap something with you - say, stationery or ATCs.
Finally i can add the comments from my own computer... that was a pain... Sorry for such a delay :) I do have my favourite manga, but unfortunatelly it is not only one. Currently my favourite is 'Kokoro Connect' and 'Acid Town', but my all time favourite are "Death Note" and "Full Metal Alchemist". What are yours? Do you have any favourite anime? I do love everything from Miyazaki-sensei! He is my favourite.
Yes! It is so cool and you can make so many things with it. I decorated my photos with them already and have made some gifts for friends. I love you already for loving Japanese animation. I'm lso in love with it. Together with manga and some others Japanese things like Culture :) And your music taste .
