About Me

Hi Everyone! My name is Prudence and I'm from beautiful British Columbia, Canada.

I left Swap-Bot for 3 years because I was tired of people flaking or sending me sloppy things that probably only took 2 seconds to throw together. I've decided to come back and give Swap-Bot another chance! I hope it's not another disappointment.

I love travelling!! Especially to places that are relaxing and have nice beaches but cities are nice too. So far I've been to HongKong, Japan, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Hawaii, San Fran, Cuba, Dominican Republic & Jamaica. I'm planning a trip to Florida in October and I'm super excited! I'm hoping to travel to Europe after the Florida trip.

I had a miniature schnauzer, named JaiJai, who passed away in June 2011. I loved him so much and no other pets can ever replace him. I also have two cats named Miffy and Bubble. I love them as well but I'll be honest, I like dogs more than cats.

I don't really play any sports other than snowboarding. I also like to do yoga to stay active and healthy, especially when snowboarding season's over.

Likes

ATC's -- I only heard about ATC after joining swap-bot and I quickly fell in love with it =D!! I think it's so much fun to make little cards with themes..especially zentangle!! I've never heard of zentangle before and now I'm zentangling almost everyday! Although I like colourful things, I prefer zentangles to be black and white =)

CROCHET -- 5 summers ago, I started learning how to crochet on my own through books and online videos. Then I fell in love with making amigurumi!! I am not an expert, but I can make fairly decent & cute amigurumi =)!

PAPERS & EMBELLISHMENTS -- I like pretty scrapbooking papers & embellishments. Things that I can use for my Project Life!

HANDS ON ARTS&CRAFTS -- Sculptures, polymer clay, paper mache, woodwork...etc.

HANDMADE GIFTS -- I absolutely love handmade gifts. I always tell my friends to make me something instead of buying me a gift for my birthday. I also enjoy making cards for my friends on their birthdays!

COLOURFUL & SPARKLY -- I like colourful things! I particularly like baby colours because they're soft and calm. I also like sparkly things like crystals and glitter!

FAVOURITE BOOKS -- Mystery books & chick flicks. I would love to hear some recommendations from you!

POSTCARDS -- I like all kinds of postcards. Anything that represents the country/city would be great! Show me the best features/place of your country! It doesn't have to be touristy..it can also be anything cool/pretty/colouful! Please leave a message on the postcards as well =)! I prefer naked postcards (written and sent without an envelope).

DISNEY -- The classics: Little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast, Cinderella, Lion King, Aladdin...etc!

JEWELLERY -- I love silver or white gold jewellery. I love rings! Everytime I travel, I must buy a ring!

Dislikes

VINTAGE -- I'm not big fan on vintage style. Some do catch my eyes if they're exceptionally nice. I prefer things that are more colourful and cheerful!

HORROR -- I don't really want to receive anything that's scary/dark/bloody...Happy thoughts =)

INSECTS -- They really gross me out! Especially spiders...

JUNK -- Please don't send me bits and pieces of your leftovers. Give me things that you would like to receive!

RELIGIOUS THINGS -- I'm not religious so I won't be able to relate to things about religion. I do respect all religions out there though!

Comment: Thanks for the zentangle! It made me realise that my zentangle does not always have to be so complicated too:D I understand what you mean, about real world responsibilities. I'm a little scared to grow up because i know that school life will always be easier no matter what. But I know I'll grow up whether i want or not(: So yeah:D And the packaging is really nice too!

A great big hello n a hug from me here in the U.k welcome to swap bot .I am to send to you in the wings n things atc i have made a very funny one i see you love dogs n cats well the atc is of these but not how you would see them usually my heart goes out to you love that you lost your JaiJai i have a miniture jack russell he is 7 and since my husband passed away he has been my everything i dread the day coming when he goes off to join my hubby in the spirit world .I think you have made a lovely profile . I have invited you to the pampered pets group its a friendly one we always have lots going on where you can chat to other animal lovers we have extra things to the swaps like WTA all our names go in a draw and the person who wins we all send a gift to its great when you win also we have some good swaps from time to time too.
