2024 Phrase of the Year: PLAY

I'm a 43 year old single disabled queer femme. Mama to two teens. Writer, performer, educator. Lover of crows and ravens, the ocean, the moon, ferns and forest things, mushrooms, glitter, mermaids and sirens, dark purple, teal blue, mustard yellow, rust orange, beautiful rocks/shells/sticks, and all things dark academia, cottagecore, or magical! Avid reader and art-er.

I joined and started 'swapping' as I really, really love both sending and receiving "happy mail!" I feel like the art of mail has been lost to many, and for me there's not much more lovely than opening up my mailbox and seeing something that isn't a bill or an ad! I look forward to swapping with you!

For child-based swaps: My child at home is 17 years old and loves cats, turtles, and rainbows. Other likes include D&D, fantasy books, and Minecraft.

NOTE Due to my disability and chronic health issues, I on occasion have things unexpectedly come up that impact a swap getting out on time (either symptoms or an unexpected medical procedure being needed, etc). If this happens I will contact you as soon as possible and let you know. I appreciate the partners who have been understanding of this in the past.

**UPDATE 7/18/23 - To address my recent three...after years of swapping with perfect ratings I fell upon a season of severe health issues including a hospitalization. I fell behind in swaps, including a resend. While I tried to be communicative with partners, a few fell by the wayside as I dealt with those personal issues. To the best of my records all swaps have been sent out. If you've not r'cvd a swap from me let me know and I'll rectify ASAP as I'm now much more stable with my health.

Big fan of plain black or green tea, but not fruity ones.. That said, I have TONS of tea right now, so please don't send tea unless swap specifically specifies to do so.

I enjoy good coffee.

I like fun salty or sweet snacks, and always like trying foods from other countries or unusual snacks. I'm not a big fan of spicy, and don't eat olives or mushrooms at all.
