San Francisco retired guy, married, grown daughter and two grandkids, plus one cat.
Worked in the software industry as a technical publications manager (and tech writer). Don't miss commuting, but do miss the daily social interactions. I love photography (take a look at the web site), designing things, collecting fountain pens & writing letters and postcards. I own a 95-year-old house that always needs work.
My life has taken a new turn in the last year or so as I've become a full-time caregiver. That's on top of the pandemic. I try to keep up personal interests and pleasures as I also have to take on more chores and deal with my partner's health issues. I've learned to value my letter and postcard friends even more than before.
I have a new interest in gardening, something I never cared much about before. There are many pleasures to it, frustrations as well, but the thing that's most important is thinking about the future. Planting seeds now to blossom in four or six months seems to add some optimism that was in short supply.
If we meet through a swap, I'd be happy to extend our connection with a letter or two (or more). Thanks for reading this far!
All over the place, especially kind of weird and experimental stuff that most folks hate.
The Crown, Fleabag, Gentleman Jack, Jeopardy, Gardener's World. Guilty pleasures: Survivor, Golden State Warriors games.

Hi there! I saw your comment on the cemetery photo swap and I'm just wondering which cemetery in Queens you were at when you were asked not to take photos. I live in Queens too, so just curious! Thanks :)
