I'm a mother of 4 girls, grandmother of 9 and an empty nester.I enjoy watching shows on Acorn TV and Britbox. I also really like to read. I enjoy Louise Penny, Ann Cleeves, Steve Higgs' Cozy Mysteries, C.J. Box, Susan Wiggs, Kristin Hannah and so many more; chocolate is my friend!, I like to find/drink interesting teas but NOT mint; I'm also a coffee drinker; I like brownies(the eating kind);baking-especially cookies and bars; unusual cupcake papers and out of the ordinary cookie cutters, aprons, vintage items such as...jewelry, linens, hankies, pretty china teacups, paint by number; childrens books with illustrations by Eloise Wilkens; lilacs, pansies, and flowers in general; birds, the little ones found in our yards and meadows; doing my genealogy; finding well tumbled sea glass in Maine; music of the 40's thru early 70's with some of my favorites being any of the crooners of the 40's, most all of the 50's and 60's groups; wearing the colors aqua, teal and pinks; recipes of 5 items or less icicle Christmas tree ornaments-my tree is loaded but I always can and do add more each year; opals-raw and polished; little things from IKEA; wearing earrings every day-some days more "sparkly" than others. I'm going to try crafting again now that I'm retired. I'll finish some of the x-stitch I've started, maybe relearn crocheting but that's all I'll work on for now! My girls and I all have what we call a "Tiny Shelf". It is an old printer's tray that we have hung on the wall and fill the compartments with "tiny things" to display. I still have empty spots to fill!
