Hello,
Earth Day is to me a day that exists all the time but needs that push for those who sometimes need a gentle hint. I try to be good, the planet isn't mine, it belongs to bunnies and bears, flowers and trees, bees and crickets and other people too, I feel we are the most destructive so we go on the list last.. I volunteer when I can with green causes, try to make intelligent purchases and use natural cleaners and leaping bunny endorsed products as I can add them into our routines. I am a huge supporter of community swaps and freecycling. We also compost and keep an organic garden . Loving my time and want to help keep everything green- that's my take on Earth Day. Enjoy and respect our beautiful planet!
I think Earth Day is such an important day to remind people that what they do each day affects the planet we all share, to educate ourselves on ways to reduce our carbon footprint, and to instill an appreciation for the Earth and taking care of the environment in youth. Earth day really should be every day, and in a way I get upset on this day just realizing that the fact we need a day to celebrate and educate about saving the planet means humanity is pretty far removed from the connection we should have with nature and the planet that sustains us. I hope you enjoy the images I chose and find a way to make a difference for the planet for yourself, your family, or your community. ♥
