Hello! You can call me Rusty. I'm a thirty-something guy in eastern Canada who enjoys various textile-based crafts and spends an inordinate amount of time petting cats and playing video games. I'll be returning to a textiles college program in the fall and presently work in retail.

I struggle to engage with things that require me to write about myself, so apologies if my profile is a bit brief. I'm open to questions where needed for better swapping.

Actually pretty good at: sewing & embroidery, felting, basic garment construction

Learning/dabbling in: knitting, drawing, paper making, weaving, various dye techniques, music production (that's a craft, right?), graphic design

Want to try: simple woodworking & stamp making

aviation, biking, board games, cats, dance, documentaries, drinking tea, gaming, home decor, music, nail polish, stuffed animals (plushies), trains

I'm still clearly quite new to this, so I don't have much to draw on at the moment.

• homemade/hand-drawn/self-printed postcards of good quality (i.e. decent cardstock, solidly assembled/decorated so nothing falls off in transit) are quite welcome!

• I don't mind if postcards are naked or in envelopes; I will leave it to the sender's discretion or preference. Some swaps specify whether they should be one or the other, but if you've a reason to want to put it in an envelope in a "naked" swap, that won't bother me. I will send per swap guidelines unless a partner prefers otherwise.
