I know I'm new but I have hosted many swaps over the last 10 years with a group of friends I hang out with online. No one else ever wants to be the organizer so if I play in a swap I always know who is sending to me. It's sort of a bummer. I was just wishing to myself for a way to meet new people and maybe exchange letters and cards. I found this place and it seems like fun. I totally understand having the rating system, though. So I'll try to do a good job and earn some positive ratings.

I like fiction books about time travel. I recently enjoyed Stephen King's 11-22-63. One of my favorite things to do is listen to an audiobook while I do some type of craft. It's like watching a movie but you don't have to move your eyes off your work.

Terminator 1 and 2, Contact, Shawshank Redemption, Star Wars Eps 4-6. I just recently enjoyed Flight, Lincoln and Life of Pi.

Big Bang Theory, Impractical Jokers. I don't like any show about autopsies or "perps" or "victims". I try not to watch too many reality shows but I seem to have an unshakeable habit with watching Survivor and Big Brother. Dancing with the Stars is fun.

Counted Cross Stitch, Knitting, Quilting. I want to be a great knitter but I am terrible about keeping track of my rows.

I also like cooking, baking, geocaching, surfing the internet to learn new stuff. My favorite thing on the internet is Google Earth.

Foods I like: Sees Candy, Chips, Dips, Spices. I'm embarassed to say they know me by name at Chick-Fila. My favorite food in all the world is salad. Cobb Salad, Asian Chicken with Peanut Dressing, Spinach with walnuts and strawberries. Pretty much any kind of salad. I do NOT like carrots except in cake but I love carrot cake. I make an awesome cheesecake that sometimes wins awards. I think oatmeal with pecans is my favorite kind of cookie because of the texture.
