Hi! I'm from a small city called Greenville, South Carolina. I moved here in 2013 from Washington D.C. I have a 13-year-old sister and two lovely parents, as well as a golden doodle named Hank. My favorite colors are maroon, gold, and light pink. I love writing (I want to be an author more than anything) and the mountains. In the summers, I work as a counselor for 6 to 9-year-old girls at a summer camp in the North Carolina mountains and I love it more than anything.

One of my biggest dreams in life is to write novels or short stories and publish them, and hopefully get to live in New York City. I love the city, and writing has been a passion of mine since I could hold a pencil.

One of my big passions is literature, and I read as much as I can. My favorite book of all time is Sophie's Choice by William Styron, a recommendation for anyone who can handle very adult themes and language. My favorite book candy is a series called The Darkest Minds by Alex Bracken. It's a dystopian novel about biological warfare that mutates the brains of children in America, and it's very interesting.

Another book that is near and dear to my heart is The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt, about a boy who is in a terrorist attack that changes him for life. He takes a priceless painting from the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, and it follows him into adulthood. Again, it's good for people who are mature enough to handle adult themes and language.

My favorite colors are maroon, baby pink, and gold, but I love the combination of royal blue and bright gold as well. My favorite flowers are white roses and sunflowers. My favorite animals are orcas because they are incredibly intelligent and the diversity of their behavior is amazing. I love learning as much about anything that I can.

Some things that I have absolutely no tolerance for are sexism, racism, homophobia, and bigotry. I am a very liberal person, and though I respect every person's right to an opinion, I don't like getting into political debates with more conservative people because I like being as kind and respectful as possible and I will get very heated. Please respect that about me! I also hate tomatoes.
