Hi!
I am a piano teacher from Arizona who loves mail! I love fancy postage, anything watercolor, big beautiful florals, gorgeous scenery, and succulents. My favorite colors are pinks, blues, and purples. I like fresh colors the most - mint, light pink, light green, lots of pastels! Colors I don't usually go for are dull ones, browns, reds, and oranges. Don't be afraid to send me something in those colors though, if you think it's pretty I probably will too! I usually go for black and gray instead of brown and tan, but there are of course exceptions!! Kraft paper and vintage ephemera are a couple. :)
All kinds of birds are my favorite animals, but I especially like lovebirds, parrotlets, flamingoes, finches, and chickens. :)
Also, I love Jack Russells, elephants, baby animals, and rabbits.
I love being crafty and making beautiful things with watercolors and pretty writing. I love urban sketching. I took a bookbinding class in college and have been making my own journals ever since! I enjoy calligraphy and other typography as well.
---FOR THE LOVE OF TRAVELER'S NOTEBOOK SWAP--- I like anything watercolor or pastel or big messy florals. Anything that can be glued in is great! Vintage ephemera (actual vintage or just vintage styled), MAPS!!, cactus/succulents, travel themed washi, urban sketching, brick or wood, typewriter/typography/modern calligraphy, anything from Tim Holtz, Project Life, SMASH book stuff or any other scrapbooking supplies you think I might like based on any of the rest of my profile! I really do like most things so don't worry. :) And feel free to message me if you're feeling unsure!
Send me tried and true recipes you love! (I don't need blank recipe cards for myself, but if you write a recipe on them I would love to receive that!) Cooking is another favorite activity of mine. I'm not afraid of making recipes from scratch. I do not cook with or drink alcohol, coffee, or tea. (Herbal tea is great though! If you send me some of your favorite kind, tell me what you like to mix into it. I'm an herbal tea newbie.) :)
Preferences:
I am sure to drool over anything watercolor, birds, succulents, washi, watercolor flowers, Mini Cooper, or pastel colors! I don't really have a use for unused postcards, but if you do decide to send me one, I would prefer it to be a fun pattern or design that I can send anytime to a friend.
Other themes I like: Arrows, gemstones, geometric, mermaids, flowers, succulents, cactus, birds, watercolor, travel, fresh, fruity, bright, happy, calligraphy, stripes, feminine, lace, regency, sheet music, maps.
I have two redheaded daughters and a dark haired son. They are all under 7. Anything with children on it in those hair colors I would love!! Especially if there are redheads. They are usually pretty rare to find! If you want to send something for my 6 year old daughter, anything with a horse on it. She's obsessed!
**Not my favorite: Kawaii cartoons, emojis, cheesy cutesy, gothic, or skulls.
**I don't drink regular tea, but am starting to enjoy herbal tea. I LOVE hot chocolate and enjoy other caffeine free drink mixes, like propel, lemonade or koolaid.
Thanks for reading! I am not picky about what I receive and will try my best to make really good happy mail to send! I hand out hearts like candy on Halloween!

If you're sending me something and are looking for quick inspiration, here are a few things that I ALWAYS love getting!
Big sticker flakes, any kind! Fussy cut are the best but I love them all. They can even be homemade ones! They don't need to be waterproof. I have a sticker book with all kinds from everywhere! I even love free stickers from restaurants or other businesses! Anything goes!
Washi tape samples! I like most styles, but I've never met a stripe, a dot, a solid, or a watercolor one I didn't like! I'll pass on the Japanese cartoon characters (or similar) though. They're cute but not for me.
Anything from or about Paris! I used to think it was really cliche and overpopular, but I went in 2022 and it was AMAZING AND I LOVED IT!! So now I'm obsessed. :)
Anything sketched or in a sketchy style. I love urban sketching (look it up!) and try to sketch everywhere I go. I love seeing everyone else's sketches too!
Mandalas, Christian things for my church journal, bright and happy, black and white, or vintage looking paper stuff to stick in my journals.
