After finishing my current swaps, I'm going to take a little break from Swap-bot. Busy with life, and trying to save money for vacation and Christmas! I'll still be checking regularly though.

I'm Steph! I'm 24 years old and live in Saint Paul, MN. I stumbled upon this website randomly, and I'm very excited about it (obsessed, even...)

I work in HR/Payroll for the U; when I'm not working, I love spending time with my boyfriend, hanging out with friends, shopping too much, reading, watching my favorite shows, and doing crafts.

I am new to swapping and still expanding my creative horizons. I want to send out the best possible swaps/packages, and hopefully get some cool stuff in return. I put a lot of time, money, and effort into my swaps. I will not be a flaker, and please extend me the same courtesy! I will also rate fairly based on swap guidelines, whether or not I like what I receive - if I don't have a use for it, I'll just pass it along to someone who might! I give hearts when I can tell someone put thought into a package.

I reuse packaging when possible.

I'm getting pickier about the swaps I participate in - I really only want to recieve things that I have use for (especially seeing as I may be moving soon!)

I LOVE to read...it's so hard for me to pick favorite books because I have such eclectic taste, I'm always jumping from one author and one genre to the next! Some of my favorite authors are David Sedaris, Wally Lamb, Ayn Rand, Gregory Maguire, Khaled Hosseini...the list goes on. Wandering around bookstores is a guilty pleasure of mine :o)

I also love Cross Stitch books and would be interested in any new or gently used pattern books (I'm much more interested in modern, fun designs with bright colors).

I'm a huge TV buff (but I don't have cable - too expensive!). I love Family Guy, The Simpsons, Daily Show, Weeds, Dexter, and of course...LOST!

When I can mooch off of others with cable, I really like shows on History, Discovery, and Travel channel (favorite cable show is Man vs. Food...LOVE IT!)

Between work, my boyfriend, swapping, and the other busy-ness of life (especially summer), I haven't had much time to do crafting. When I do, I love to cross stitch, scrapbook, and make earrings (and possibly other jewelry?) So when it comes to crafting goodies, please stick with sending me only the things I specify below in my wishlist - I have amassed SO much stuff and feel so overwhelmed, I just don't know when I'll use it!

I'm a big fan of classic rock - AC/DC, CCR, Aerosmith, to name a few. I also like Jem, McKinley Place, ABBA, Liz Phair, Elton John, Billy Joel, O.A.R. and more. I'm also a big musical buff - some of my favorites are RENT, Mamma Mia, and Phantom of the Opera.

Books: I love books, and read a LOT. Please PM me before sending a book to make sure I don't have it yet! :o)

Candles: buttercream, pomegranate, currant, coffee, raspberry lemonade, clean/linen scents - would love homemade candles or melts too

Lipbalms: (not gloss) - no chapstick or basic stuff; but quality stuff with shea or cocoa butter, aloe, vitamin e, that sort of thing. I especially want to find a strawberry/raspberry lemonade one, and a good mocha/latte one! homemade = AWESOME!

Cross stitch supplies: DMC floss, 14ct white aida fabric, small/cute cross stitch patterns/kits (I prefer more modern, colorful designs)

Organizers/totes of any size: for craft supplies such as beads, buttons, brads, floss, etc, or for general storage

I am a big football fan - my favorite teams are the Packers and the Golden Gophers (U of MN - my alma mater and my employer!!) so anything relate to those teams would be awesome!

Jewelry making: High quality beads (glass, crystal), sterling silver ear hooks, headpins

Homemade (or store bought) bath and pampering goodies: ex: gentle face washes, bath scrubs, lotions, bath bombs, bath melts (esp like B&BW lavender vanilla and eucalyptus spearmint scents) - not so much in need of the "tools" (ie scrubbers, loofahs, masks, heat packs) - just like all the fun soaps, soaks, scrubs, etc

Local flavor: candies, spices, foods, jams etc local to your area, magnet from your city

Nintendo/video game related stuff (like keychains, pins, totes, figurines): specifically Mario, Zelda, Street Fighter, PacMan, Sonic

Misc craft items: fabric covered buttons, brads or pushpins; novelty buttons; scrapbook embellishments (brads, quality stickers - I'm liking the new Martha Stewart line!)

Themed items: cupcakes, dragonflies, cherries, strawberries, Sanrio items (love notebooks/memo books!)

Candies: salt water taffy, fudge, good quality chocolate (like candy/specialty store stuff), especially with nuts, coconut, or peanut butter; lately I'm a huge fan of turtles too...mmmm.

Beverages: any unique/flavored green teas, flavored iced tea, flavored (besides lemon!) lemonades, iced coffee beverages (ex: bottled Starbucks light Mocha frappuccinos)

Kitchen/Cooking/Baking stuff: cute kitchen towels/oven mitts/dish cloths, baking tools, dessert plates

Foods: specialty food mixes (dips, soups, breads), specialty spices/seasonings/sauces

Useful homemade items (well made please!): grocery or craft tote bags, drawstring bags or zipper pouches, scrabble tile pendant, earrings, camera or phone case, dish cloths/towels, lip balm holders, soap savers, etc
