I am new to Swap Bot! I live in the Midwest and have moved around recently due to my husband's work. I really enjoy working with kids and animals and volunteering.

I can get lost in antique stores - I particularly enjoy looking at vintage photos, pin-up paraphernalia, and reading the backs of vintage postcards.

I am learning how to sew on my grandmother's machine! I really enjoy sewing home decor projects, and upcycling older garments into new ones!

I like experimenting with different things, and 'dabbling' with candle making, jewelry making, and am just trying embroidery.

Likes: -natural fabrics and fibers - silks, wools, cottons -vintage books, textiles, accessories -rhinestones -velvets, ribbons, florals -horse motif -typography; printer's type sets, ampersands -bright, bold jewel tones -animals -pin-up advertisements/postcards -trying new recipes/foods, especially spicy ones!

Dislikes: -anything religious -anything tea/coffee related -'cutesy' type things - like Disney Princesses, the cabbage rose & pastel style

Allergies: -very strong reaction to smoke! please don't send anything that has a smoke odor.

TV: Parks & Recreation, Bones, House, The Amazing Race

Books: Too many to list - love reading sci-fi/fantasy, modern fiction, and young adult authors.

Hobbies: Horseback riding, geocaching, sweepstakes, crafting (duh!), thrifting, cooking, baking, reading, planning trips!
