I teach sociology - popular culture, language and culture, and family.
I have a daughter in high school, who loves math, science, and politics, and is a competitive Irish dancer. As a result, I spend a lot of time driving to dance classes and going to performances and competitions.
My hobbies are role-playing, loom knitting, and fountain pens. My favorite color is yellow, so I love to find yellow pens (not the easiest thing!) My pens range from Varsities and Preppies to my Pilot Falcon, and everywhere in between. I love my Ecos, my Procyons, my VP, and my Breeze the most.
For inks, I seem to favor dark greens, purples, and reds. I have around 120 ink samples, so I’ve tried a lot of them, but it’s always fun to try something new. Some of my favorites are the Pure Pens Celtic series (especially Cwm Idwal and Flower of Scotland) and Diamine. I generally dislike dry inks, and I don’t have a lot of luck with shimmering inks playing nicely (or, when they do, me having the patience to clean them out when they’re done).
