I love God and spending time with my family. They come first. I love crafting. It gives me such peace and relaxation. I am a giver, so crafting is a perfect fit for me. I love figuring out how to make things myself, whether its cooking, painting, sewing, photoghrapy, or paper crafts.
I've been an avid scrapbooker until the last few years. After I lost my mom, I gained a new perspective on life. I want to spend as much time with those who want to spend time with me.
I spend a lot of time and money trying to scrapbook the millions of pictures I take and then feeling gulity when I don't get them all done. Who needs that!
I asked the question to myself, what will my only child do with all of these scrapbooks? Will she feel obligated to pay to store these things that she watched her mom spend endless amounts of time on, only to store them away because you don't want anything to happen to them or they are so big, they don't fit on the coffee table? I don't want her feeling that way.
I want her to remember the time we spent together. So I took apart all the scrapbooks and scanned them in and gave the pages away to family and friends. I've switched to digital scrapbooking. I am in the process of making all of the pages I scanned into Shutterfly books the my daughter can store in a normal sized book case.
I still love paper crafting, so here comes home decor and card making!
I love the new country music that is out now. I grew up in the 80's so I still love hair band music.
I don't read very music, but when I do it is for research or to expand my mind with knowledge.
I love thrillers and chick flicks with great endings.
Love CSI Las Vegas, Big Bang Theory, Hotel Hell
I love stamps that have matching dies or punches. I love them so much I got rid of most of my collection of stamps.
I love scrapbooking, so I'm learning the art of pocket scrapbooking for holidays and seasons to add to my home decor. I love scrapbooking on canvas. I love dimension in paper crafts, flowers and bugs (not the real kind).
