Favorite Books

I LOVE to read - Nora Roberts is my all time favourite author. I've just discovered Stephen Lawford (who writes about the middle ages in Europe and asia) and Helen Forrster (who writes about England and France around the time of the second world war). I collect cookbooks - ones from before 1945 and ones done by community groups as fundraisers.

About Me

I am a Registered Nurse working in Canada. I live with 5 cats, no kids. I enjoy lots of artsy fartsy endeavors, including painting, sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting , beading, and the odd bout of rubber stamping. I collect anything to do with nurses or nursing.

Favorite Movies

I enjoy action-adventure types the best, with the odd "chick flick" thrown in. The last movie I saw was the Dark Knight.

Favorite Television

I often have the TV on for background noise, but may not be paying much attention. I do like NCIS, the Terminator Chronicles and Location Location Location (weird mix - I know! LOL) I also like documentaries about history and home and garden renovation shows.

miscellaneous

Favorite Colors - green, purple, red, metallics, jewel tones, orange (pretty much everything but pink)

Favorite Foods - anything chocolate, coffee, Coke Zero, caramel.

Currently working on - embellishing a country-style wall hanging, a bargello quilt, learning how to make ATC's
