Married and mother to two 4-legged children, a cat and dog. A country dweller and collector of many things! I love blank journals, pretty writing pens, bookmarks, stickers, pretty writing pens, ATC's, anything to do with birds, beanie bears, pretty writing pens, stationery, antique angel figurines, snowman figurines, blank note cards, waterglobes, handmade address labels, cute coffee mugs, and did I mention pretty writing pens? (LOL) (I'm a pen freak!) and many other things. I love nature and all critters. Journaling is my current love. And Pen Palling is my lifetime love.

I Love, love, love old paper collectibles from the Victorian era...postcards, tradecards, valentines, and especially like the ones with bible verses on them , but I don't collect the Sunday school lesson cards. I like Alfred Manzer cat postcards and any postcards or notecards with dressed animals on them. I collect Easter postcards and Rally Day Sunday School postcards from the 1910-1940 era. I also have a collection of old postcards of children, angels and religious...mostly are holiday cards. I keep a scrapbook filled with religious pictures from the fronts of religious cards, Christmas cards, old postcards, victorian scrap, wallet cards that can be bought in the Christian bookstore, religious ATC's, anything Christian related in paper. It is a mixture of old and new religious paper scrap.

Some other items I enjoy and use are scented lotions and shower gels. In makeup I like lip gloss but never wear lipstick.

I am a Christian so do not like items on the occult or paganism, or items of that nature.

As for jewelry, I love crosses and have quite a collection of cross pendants. I do have pierced ears but usually only wear ones that are small and delicate posts.

I LOVE items that are unique and different, and I LOVE color! The brighter, the better! Favorite colors are turquoise and purple, but also love bright hues of yellow, green and pink. I'm not crazy about blues and reds.

I like Mary Engelbreight items and pictures but don't really collect them. I think it is the color that attracts me to them! Love anything "country-ish" since I am a country gal. Love primitive country paintings by Grandma Moses and grandson, Will, and any other scenic primitive art.

I have been an avid snail mail pen paller for close to 40 years. There is nothing better than to go to the mailbox each day and find a letter from a friend! So, I do like any items that would have anything to do with palling.

I enjoy contemporary Christian mostly and like country western and instrumental. I like music and soft rock from the 70's such as Bread, 3 Dog Night, Cat Stevens, Seals & Crofts, England Dan and John Ford Coley, Harry Chapin, etc. I can get lost in Celtic instrumental music....gives me a sense of euphoria!

My favorite author is Lavyrle Spencer. Enjoy novels (not racey historical romances) and inspirational romances and I am also crazy about published journals and memoirs from the pioneer and civil war periods. I also like self-help journaling books that inspire me to journal.

My all time favorite movie is Friendly Persuasion starring Gary Cooper. I tend to like the older movies...other favorites are I Remember Mama, All Mine to Give. More modern movies are The Affair (?) starring Warren Beatty, The American President, You've Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle

Gilmore Girls was my favorite show but it was cancelled. I love to watch CSI and am a fan of the The Bachelor series. I also like to watch Animal Planet from time to time and especially like the Funniest Animal shows.

My hobbies include sketching / painting, paper craft/cardmaking, genealogy, making address labels and decorative envelopes, pen palling, journaling

I am a collector of notecards, stationary, old pictures, ATCs,etc like I stated above, but also love those items with original artwork on them, so if you are an artist, notecards and such that have original drawings or paintings on them (or even reproduction of your artwork) would highly please me! Love notecards with lots of color, or maybe with animals. These are just suggestions and in no way says that I wouldn't be happy with whatever you send! I love notecards! Period! LOL! As for journals, I am not fond of the spiral bound journals. For some reason I have a hard time writing in them, and I love to carry them in my purse so the spiral bound don't fit in my purse too well!
