EDIT 10/13/2006: I've had mono, so I'm VERY behind on my swaps. I deeply apologize that so many swaps are sooooo late in coming, but rest assured, they are coming eventually!

Not too much to tell: 30-something data-oriented professional, at a major midwest university. Hobbies not covered in the other entries: I like games! Board games, card games, D&D and other role-playing games, and video games, even the occasional game of basketball or volleyball. I'm also a cat-lover, as you can see from the flickr site, which will someday contain a LOT of more of my actual photography. My favorite colors tend toward water and jewel tones: blues, greens, cool reds, and especially purples.

Pretty much anything I can sing along to, though I'm a particular fan of my significant other's work, both in a blues-funk band, and in his own goth project. Specifics: evanescence, the who, led zeppeling, rob zombie, rammstein, rob thomas / matchbox 20, barenaked ladies, offspring, the dixie chicks... See? Very eclectic...

V for Vendetta, The Matrix, Amelie, The City of Lost Children, Sin City, Firefly, Pirates of the Carribean, The Princess Bride, Legend, Labyrinth, The Five Pennies, Daddy Longlegs... Again, very eclectic

I don't watch a lot, but Law and Order CI and SVU are good, and I tend to like things like Doctor Who or Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, and we've been having a lot of fun lately with Who Wants to be a Superhero. Oh, and Queer Eye, tho' I don't get to watch it very often.

I knit very slowly, and prefer to crochet. I also draw, and paint with watercolors. I like stationery and papercrafts, and am very slowly teaching myself how to sew.
