This is all exciting and new to me! I am a teacher who has discovered, via some wonderful art courses, her creative voice. (I actually had it all the time, it just became buried under life stuff!). Now I create chiefly with textiles and photography - a current technique involves working into my photographs with layers of fabric and stitch - soooo exciting! My secret loves are vintage buttons and ric-rac!
I'll listen to everything except head-banging stuff but I always come back to Ella Fitzgerald for quiet evenings in, Springsteen for loud evenings out and Van Morrison for everything in between. I even like some of the choices my boys (3 teenage and above) listen to. Eclectic me!
No surprises here...Casablanca. Any movie with a strong hook can pull me in though. I loved 'Oh Brother where Art Thou', Shawshank, but loathe those sci-fi or gratuitously violent films.
Never bother with TV, I'd rather be sewing!
Anything involving textiles, I make quilts, I do bags embellished with vintage lace, linens, images and buttons which I sell for money to spend on more vintage lace, linens, images and buttons which I sell..... you get the picture?
