My name is Fiona and I live in Auckland, New Zealand. I am a single mother to 2 amazing teenage daughters. I love all kinds of handcrafts but my real passion is crochet. I always have at least 2 crochet projects on the go at any one time. I also like to read, and play around with computers, doing minor repairs and upgrades for friends and family.

My favourite colours are: bright colours, pastel colours, autumn colours, summer colours, winter colours, dark colours, umm ok any colours. And I am a collector, I love junk, well not junk exactly, more like quirky things,pretty things, cute things, weird and bizarre things, the kind of things that make you go 'mmm wonder what that is for'. I also like Betty Boop, Hello Kitty, and Happy Bunny.

** Please Note ** A quick note for my swap partners, I am diabetic, so if our swap includes something sweet, I would prefer sugar-free, although in saying that, my daughters do love sweet treats LOL. I am also allergic to pure wool and wool blends and lanolin, so if our swap includes anything made with yarn I would prefer 100% cotton or 100% arcylic yarn. Thank you.

I like all kinds of music from classical to heavy rock and just about anything in between. I love to have music playing all day in my house, and with 2 teenage daughters I get to listen to a lot of the newest, latest and greatest, some of which I actually enjoy hehe.

I don't really have any favourite movies. I usually sit and crochet while watching movies so tend to always miss the good bits, but it means I can watch a movie more than once before it gets boring LOL.

I don't watch alot of TV, but at the moment my favourite show is Men in Trees. I have only seen the first episode so far, but really enjoyed it. I have also been watching Lost but tend to forget when it's on so have missed a lot of it. i might have to buy the DVD's and see if can catch up with it that way.

My favourite craft is crochet, but I also enjoy knitting, cross stitch, plastic canvas and many other handcrafts. Since joining Swap-bot I have been introduced to ATC's, and at present I am trying my hand at these, with some rather pleasing results, so I guess that is another hobby to add to my ever growing list.
