I'm a "young" 40. hehe I have 4 daughters 22, 15, 13, and 8. I'm new to swapping (pretty much) but absolutely love the idea. I love to buy gifts for people and am one of those rare breeds of people who are actually SAD when Christmas is over because I can't buy anymore for people (my husband HATES this about me)! I love traveling, camping, fishing, water, boating, the sun, the snow, fall colors. I love animals (but don't really care too much for animal themes). My hobbies are reading and my favorite authors are; Taylor Caldwell and Stephen King. I have liked most books on the OPRAH book list. LOL I love to scrapbook but rarely seem to find the time. I love to cook and trade recipes. I really don't like the taste of fish so I'd rather not have recipes including fish if I'm involved in a recipe trading swap (but I won't be terribly upset if I receive 1 or 2 because my mother and my husband love fish). My decorative style is along the lines of antique, victorian, pink and lacey.

It really depends on my mood. Sometimes I love Johnny Cash, Lynerd Skynerd, Sammy Hagar, Heart, Pat Benetar, Classic country such as Merle Haggerd, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline. Most of the time I'm in the mood for new country. Sometimes I'm in the mood for Broadway show tunes!
